Hello everyone, was wondering if you could help me. This is my first post and all so apologies if I've put this in the wrong forum, and I realise most of what I say will probably sound childish and naive given that I imagine you'll all be well versed in this issue, but...

I'm looking to sell some of my old comic books but have no idea about how to do so. I could just stick them up on ebay, but then I haven't the foggiest about whether any of them may be lost milestones in comic book history and would feel absolutely gutted if I sold them to some Arkansas malcontent for 29p each. So does anyone know of any online traders? Or should I just stick them up on ebay and hope for the best? Most of the stuff I have is crap Aliens, Predator, or Aliens vs Predator guff from the late 90's, plus loads of issues of X-Wing: Rogue Squadron. Some of the more interesting stuff I have though is the following:

Star Wars: Crimson Empire #1-6
Spawn #100
Spawn The Dark Ages #1-5
Hellblazer: Highwater #1-2
Hellboy: Conqueror Worm #1 and 4
Marvel Knights The Punisher: #1-3 (including a variant cover for #2)
No Honor #1, and
The one off issue of 3000 AD that came free with 2000 AD issue 2000 and features the original appearance of B.L.A.I.R 1

If any of you guys could steer me in the right direction it'd be much appreciated though I should mention directing me to comic traders anywhere other than England would be a waste of energy. Also, if it comes down to simply sticking them on ebay, would it be worth selling them in packs or as individual issues?

Thanks guys

P.S. I don't have anything against Arkansas.

Your Star Wars comics are cover price, at best. Selling to a dealer, he'll offer half that. Selling to a fan, hope he/she doesn't realize he can order the trade paperback off of amazon.com for $7.

Right...so what would be the best strategy? Stick 'em up on ebay as individual issues or as entire collections?

When you search for something on eBay, you can then refine it to show you recent closed auctions for that item. That would probably be your best bet for an idea of what people are paying right now.

Nothing useful to say on the best way to post them. Really depends on the title.
