But everyone was dressed as stormtroopers at the rehearsal, right?

Congrats, T.

Big church isn't my thing, but it is what made Rachel happy.
And while we didn't dress as stormtroopers, during the rehearsal introductions we played the Throne Room music used at the end of A New Hope. It worked rather well I think.

I said rehearsal, I meant reception. Oops.

You can't see it in the pics, but since Rachel was buying all these expensive things to go with her dress I bought the Fossil Flash watch. It is a thing of beauty and I was wearing it during the ceremony.

I said rehearsal, I meant reception. Oops.

I never got the Throne Music into the wedding day...
(when Julia tells this story she swears It's the Imperial March..but it's not..)

I wanted it for an end procession...

We compromised and got the live band to play the Cantina music at the reception.

Glad you were able to wear some 'spensive geekwear

Again, congrats!
Chicago is home base now? (I'm sorry if this was common knowledge and I forgot)

Aaawww! Congratulations, T-wyrm! Our little F'in Monkey is all growed up. :)

And congratulations on getting John Williams' music worked into the proceedings.

I suggest* that you do your trip report in the form of a stick people comic.

*actually, I demand it!

Comics? Can do!! I just bought a wacom tablet to do some stick layouts for a project that may see the light of day finally in a month or two.

Home base is still Orlando. Rachel just always wanted to get married in her "home" church. And since most of my family besides my parents live in Detroit, it worked out good for the families.

This covers the days up to the wedding and the day it self. I had other things to do or I'd cover the rest of the time in Chicago and the trip to Animal Kingdom Lodge.

HAHAHAHA! Fantastic! That was so much more fun than watching a wedding video. Everybody should have a wedding comic. You should set up a booth at bridal fairs.
