Simple question, hopefully with some interesting answers. Would anyone like to see the GLC based on Earth again, as it was in the previous series? This time featuring our Earth-originating characters, along with some of the more newly created characters. I know that, right now, it wouldn't work thematically/story-wise, but somewhere down the road?

Not at all. That was one of the things that kinda ruined Green Lantern for a while there. Green Lanterns should be in space. To have them all running around on Earth took away from the characters to me. I like it how it is now with just Hal and John on Earth with Kyle and Guy stopping back in now and then.

I wouldn't be opposed to seeing some extra Lanterns on Earth once in a while, but I think the setup for the current series is perfect. And it's producing some great stories.
