I know I'll be there! As for the lunch with Mike, well...I did get to have dinner with him and he kept asking me, "Are you going to finish that?" So I'll pass.

j/k of course. A lunch with Mike would be a great prize worth much more than I can afford, I am sure. But it will be really nice to see him here in my home town.

I'd love to have lunch with Mike and or George and pick their brains (figuratively speaking of course....although), and add to that the fact that this is for a good cause! Not sure if I'll bid, but whoever wins is going to have a great time.

On a side note, I heard from a George Perez interview recently that during the last lunch someone won with him, the person wasn't even a comic book fan and wasn't familiar with his work (at least that's how I remember it), so hopefully this time a fan will win and be able to contribute something worthwhile.

Yeah, i recall reading that somewhere too. It's like the 90s speculator craze..though it is a good cause, if i'm not a fan of comics or the creator involved, it seems like a waste...was the drawing he did for that guy subsequently ebay'ed off? Probably.

I would imagine lunch with Mike would be like the dinner scene from Temple of Doom.

I've never had chilled monkey brains, so it might be good. I won't knock it, until I tried it.

I'm not sure about the live snakes though...
