Immortal Iron Fist #2 Sells Out, Preview Of #3!!

So you all know, the reprint of Immortal Iron Fist #1 is out now. It has the varient cover on it, which looks great.

And here's some new stuff for the series that has become a hit. :D

Everyone agrees…The Immortal Iron Fist is poised to be the breakout hit of 2007! Marvel is happy to announce that Immortal Iron Fist #2 has sold out at Diamond, following in the wake of the premiere issue’s sellout. Currently, Marvel has no plans to go back to press on issue #2.

Mike Williams of SilverBulletComicBooks.com says Immortal Iron Fist #2, “continues the quality work most readers have come to expect from Brubaker. His and Matt Fraction’s new series definitely is making a case for thinking 2007’s going to be the year of Iron Fist.”

Kenneth Gallant of BrokenFrontier.com says, “this series will probably be the breakout title in 2007 for Marvel Comics.”

Hop onboard Immortal Iron Fist now as Iron Fist is in store for one heck of a 2007 as he becomes an increasingly important player in the Marvel Universe. Not only is there a second printing of issue #1 on stands now, featuring a gorgeous Gabrielle Dell’ Otto cover, but Marvel is releasing a Director’s Cut of the first issue in the coming weeks going behind the scenes of Iron Fist’s return to an ongoing series. The cover for the Director's Cut will be the colors-to-pencils fade of Immortal Iron Fist #1's cover as seen on other Director's Cuts.

Also note, copies of Immortal Iron Fist #2 may still be available at the retailer level.

The Director's Cut comes out on the same date as #3.

The art looks great once again. Anyone notice Danny's wearing the Iron Fist mantle but in a different way? Can't wait for #3 to come out!

He's definitely shirtless, it looks like they're mixing up his look depending on his situation or state of mind.

Thank goodness he lost the capri pants, the naval shirt and the booties though, I know they're iconic and all but the way his costume had been modified lately makes it look much cooler again. Anyway, that's a killer preview and the book rocks so I'm not dropping it anytime soon.
