I apologize if there's already been a lengthy thread on this that I somehow missed, but it looks like they're stealing more than your release date, Tad! Lionsgate's Amazing Screw-On Head DVD will also include a free comic book. The only information discernible from the Amazon listing is "Includes an Exclusive Collectible Comic Book With Never-Before-Seen Artwork by Mike Mignola." I'm guessing it's a reprint of the Screw-On head comic with a new cover and a sketch gallery, but who knows? If they are including the original comic with the DVD, that can only be a good thing. Great to get that comic spread to as many people as possible!

15 min featurette and 16 page comic book there. Not much.
Half hour featurettes are lucky to even have a commentary. Interesting, did it air in widescreen?
Included comics are not uncommon. And the Mignola art insures a purchase by completists... who are most likely buying the disk anyway. I'm glad they're putting some extras in it. The commentary alone should be interesting.

The commentary alone should be interesting.
"Oh man, did Rick ever hate this part."
"Yeah, totally. Totally."

If it's got a digest size reprint of the original comic then I'll defienetly get it. I haven't read it yet!
PS- I'd probably buy it anyway.
I know they're wanting to shop the show around (mainly to Adult Swim) after Sci Fi's rights expire, hopefully the DVD doing alright might help them.

Having bought a legal ex- transmission copy of ASOH I find myself in the sufferable position of having to wade through new and dastardly interesting material. The nerve of these people, and that artist guy,... what's his name Mike Mignola can anyone stop him from being so painfully talented and oh.. new art.. hmph where, where, where will it end.....[smiles and laughter] Hopefully, not for a very long time.. hmm new ASOH art.. better than caviare.
