Tranquility #2 was bloody wonderful. It's just a really, really fun book and fast becoming my favourite.

I picked this up today, will read when i go home from work,

JSA is the only book i allow myself to read at my desk.

Loved every panel.

The beginning bit with Mr. Articulate, The Midnighter cameo, the big superfight with the mayor, the Cryptkeeper patiche...

This is a beautiful book. My only problem is that the book I had has got a tear in it, but that's a shipping issue and nothing to do with the story.

I really liked the Mr Articulate four page story.

Can't deny I was looking forward to another wild "senior moment", like Minksy trying to land her plane in issue one, but the mystery has my attention.

The specials at the diner are cracking me up, and making me hungry.

Wonderful book. Just too much fun.

I absolutely loved the intro comic-within-a-comic. And the absolute loopiness of the whole thing is total fun. "Hey kids! Comics!" Heh.

Seriously, between this and Gen-13 there was a whole lot of funny book goodness from Ms. Simone this week.

Tranquility is so immersive that it's quite a wrench when I run out of pages and have to leave that world for another month. Very few comics get me that strongly, and I think it's a measure of how well realised the characters and their world are.

I'm still a little confused about the ants in issue #1, though.

Gail, while I love most of your DCU stuff (Birds of Prey especially), Welcome to Tranquility is simply on a whole other level. If this is what happens when you do creator-owned stuff, I can only hope you have more coming. And of course, here's hoping the sales allow for this book to have a nice long run. Speaking of which, is this a finite series with a definite ending or is it open ended? Either way, great stuff all round.
