I'm interested in the term "un-place". I have seen a reference here (http://www.marveldirectory.com/otherdimensions/unplace.htm):

But this says very little. Can anyone else help me with this, by telling me any of any references to the un-place they know of, or any other information they have on it.

Thanks.

Sounds like a phantom zone ripoff.

In any case, a quick search implies to me that the HULK annual mentioned in that profile was its only appearance.

Sounds like a place that Ministry of Truth in 1984 doesn't want you to know about.

Weird. Wonder if it's related to Un-Space, where the Fury took Mad Jim Jaspers to kill him?

Yeah, that was the place that came into my mind when I read the topic.

Thank you, however - was it the only appearance or the first appearance?

That's helpful - do you have a reference for the edition?

That happened during Alan Moore's Captain Britain series.

It's been collected recently(ish); it's well worth checking out. Great read.
