Well I just recently unearthed some of my relatives old comic books, and to my suprise, I found every issue of the original 1976 'Captain Britain'. To my dismay however, every issue that promised a free gift actually had one, all in it's original packaging/card structure, except!, issue 1:( Now I have no idea what others think of this, but I can't stand missing bits from comics. I know I'm being very picky, and possible ungrateful, (but believe me, I'm not), but I just like to make it feel like I was there when this comic was purchased, and I like to apreciate the bits inside. Please say it's not just me:rolleyes:

Also, if possible, does anyone know a rough estimate at a price these'll sell at please? eventually I'll want to sell them, so If you can help, it'll be much apreciated also :)

Question 1, check out ebay.

Question 2, I'd recommend checking out ebay.

Here, I even did it for you:

why be a jerk about it? the first was just saying how do you prefer the comic? ie, do you mind not having all parts to the issue? If so, why? Personal? Financial reasons?

Geez, man, I actually went out of my way to go to ebay. Pretty sure I wasn't being a jerk. That's the answer to any Internet question of what something might be worth: check ebay.

I overlooked your initial question (thought you were wondering what was missing from No. 1, apologies), but no, it's not just you. I'm the same way. I especially hate any writing in a comic -- any evidence it was owned by someone besides me. I can handle things being totally beat up, but if they look like new -- apart from a small name written in ink at the bottom of the first page -- I want no part of it.
