This March, if you scare easily make sure you’ve got some burn cream on hand because the Man-Thing is back in the pages of “Legion of Monsters: Man-Thing.” CBR News spoke with writer Charlie Huston about the book.

Okay this has bugged me so I'm gonna post. When are regular sized comics only 14 pages of story long? Arent they usually 18 to 20? Where are all the other pages of this book? I was hyped for the event but if it is gonna turn into 14 page stories with extra ads and pin ups I'll be passing on these things.

The end of the article mentions a Zombie back up story to fill out the issue.

I got into ‘Man-Thing’ via ‘Howard the Duck,’” Huston explained. “I loved the kinds of stories Steve Gerber told and the way he told them. They were these utterly human, authentic and realistic stories, but told with talking ducks and shambling mounds of swamp muck. I was a little kid, but for some reason those stories really appealed to me. It was something about the authenticity of those stories that really sucked me in and got to me.”
Now that's a very promising sign. I am really looking forward to this.
Huston is excited both as a writer and a reader to see Marvel doing more anthology style books. “I think it’s really cool. I missed that stuff,” he said. “I loved books like ‘Astonishing Tales’ and ‘Marvel Comics Presents’ where they would try out stuff and you’d get to read stories that you wouldn’t read anywhere else. I’m glad that they’re doing this and I hope that it’s successful, so they can keep trying things out and experimenting with these little books to see if they can revive some of these characters.
I wholeheartedly agree. I hope Legion takes off. It'd be great to see Dracula, It!, Morbius and Frankenstien's Monster again.
I'm not that familiar at all with the Zombie, outside of his appearance in the Handbook. I'd like to pick up some of his previous appearances to get familiar with him. Anyone have any suggestions for good Zombie stories? IIRC, he had a b & w magazine published briefly.

A zombie essential was put out you could probably buy it only for 11 bucks. As for comic appearances he did appear in a spider man unlimited issue.
