It's coming! This I promise.

* I'll cover the rest of PREVIEWS as quickly as possible to get it done and over with.
* I'll be the five millionth person to discuss the parallels between superhero comic books and soap operas.
* I'll chat a bit about lettering.
* And I'll review one or two or three additional mini-series, books, and/or trades depending on what I finish before tomorrow. The rest will get shunted over to next week.

Is that vague enough for you? ;-)

I assume with this being #500 that this is the double-sized, shiny foil lenticular mega-spectacular that you've been building to since the first column? :D

Yes, this SHOULD BE the "Trial of Augie De Blieck Jr." spectacular, with witnesses from the past 499 columns coming back to haunt me.

Sadly, I didn't have the time to write that one.

It might, however, just wind up being double-sized.

A couple of corrections have been made to the column already:

Ladronn is Mexican, not European. I did not know that.

TEXAS STRANGERS is a new on-going series, not a mini-series. The lead characters are brother and sister, not sisters. My fault. I saw two characters with long hair and leaped to a conclusion.
