I wrote THE GIFT, didn't draw it (I wish), that's Tyler Kirkham who drew it. He's doing Phoenix Warsong for Marvel now.

And no, Alice is not her daughter. But the series does focus on Alice's daughter Carroll.

Glad you like the art. AL RIO is something else.

there are some artists that are pretty cool about it. Pia Guerra pops in on the Bendis Board from time to time. Evan Van Sciver being another.

But most are too busy trying to meet deadlines to be able to pop in in more than only a few message boards.
