2007 Convention appearances!

Hey there gang... It's almost time to kick off the new convention year!.. It's hard to believe that it's almost time!.. I wanted to let everyone know that I'll be in Orlando twice in the next two months! First for the FX convention, then for Megacon! I'm also working to put together my schedule or other 2007 appearances...

Thus far I plan to attend all WIZARD shows with the possibility of attending HEROES CON in Charlotte rather than WIZARD PHILLY... I'll also be returning to the:
PITTSBURGH COMIC CON ( APRIL 2007 )
MOTORCITY CON ( MAY 2007)
PARADISE COMICS TORONTO ( JUNE 2007)
SAN DIEGO INTERNATIONAL ( JULY 2007 )
GENCON ( AUGUST 2007)
DRAGONCON ( SEPT 2007)
MID OHIO CON ( NOVERMBER 2007
BIG APPLE CON ( NOVEMBER 2007)

The list above is subject to change... ( But that's not likely, is it..?)

If there is a convention that I've not listed that you'll be attending and would like to see me please ask..! As there will be a few mored dates added as we get going in the convention year!

I don't know if it's too late for creators to get a table, etc, but New York Comic-Con is coming up in February. Now, I'm already going to see you in SDCC, but hey... who's going to complain with two chances? ;P

I'll be at NYCC, helping out Th3rd World with their booth, etc, but I'll also be trolling around the convention hall, seeking out new/used talent. :evilsmile

I'll just be doing the trolling in SDCC.

Brian.. You're going to have to look for me at SAN DIEGO this year as i'm not going to the february New York show... Megacon will have me that weekend! we'll see what happens next year.. I'm sure I'll make it sometime, till there you I usually come to the Big Apple National Convention in November!

Hey Stuart, did you ever decide on if you're going to Heroes Con or Philly in June?

Also, have you given any thought to Baltimore in September? This is one of the best cons I've been to, because it's so intimate and easy to network with people. It's geared more towards indy pubs/creators, as well, which is nice (and from what I hear, like Heroes).

Kevin.. I'm glad that you asked..! My June plans are to appear at Wizard Philly for all three days, which will mean that I will be unable to appear at Heroes con as they are held during the same weekend. I had a truely great time at Heroes con last year and am sorry to be forced to miss it... As long as there is not schedule conflict in 2008 I will be sure to be back for Heroescon then!

Also.. Though I've not secured a table yet for Baltimore my plan is to indeed attend. I'll make a more formal announcement as we get closer to the date!

Hope you can make it to Philly.. ( Or Motorcity, or Paradise comic's Toronto comicon or Supercon in SanFran..)... now that is a busy month!

Stuart, I just wanted to say that it was very nice to meet you in person at Bill's drawing table this past Saturday night. I hope the convention was sucessful & fun for you!
I've known Bill & Rose for a number of years through the Michigan Renaissance Festival - However I'm just being introduced to a lot of the Comic Book World (other than a very few of the classic Marvel & DC comics). :o If you have any good suggestions for reads, could you pass them my way?!
I'm definitely looking forward to the October comic book convention @ Gibraltor Trade Center (in Mount Clemens, MI) as well as next years Motor City ComicCon.

I imagine GenCon is still on your books? I think Lisa and I might make it up for that. Some of my Baeg Tobar folks are attending, so I thought it would be a good chance to hit the convention and see the in-laws. If it all goes through, we'll be sure to see you!

Ouch!.. I'm sorry to report that I won't be able to attend Dragoncon this year.. I've attended for the last 3 years and had a blast each time, but circumstances made it impossible for me to be there this year! I have every intention of returning in 2008... Sorry to disappoint! For those of you in the Atlantic and south east I'll be back for Megacon in Orlando and Heroes con in Charlotte! is 2008 as well!
