Im thinking she may be able to walk again soon, I mean, The moving toes kind of hinted it. Anyone agree/disagree?

Batman came back from a broken spine.
Iīd like to see Babs (at least!) with a walking cane before 2008.

It's not that she can't be healed, it's that DC doesn't want to do it. But given the way DC has been heading backwards I wouldn't be surprised if she came back as Batgirl.

Exactly.
I donīt understand why recovering her ability to walk would harm her role as Oracle.

Wait...what ?
Have I missed something ?
Didn't she die in War Games ?
Don't tell me she's been retconned, too

This could end up being an issue that's a non-issue despite thousands being angered and other thousands rejoicing.
One of my favorite fight scenes was when Barbara had an altercation with Blockbuster, who had infiltrated the clock tower. She fought him off long enough for Black Canary to show up and get her out of harm's way. I thought it was a good defining moment for Barbara.
Is she still connected to Braniac?
If it does happen, as long as it's a good story, I won't mind. I'll accept her either way. She's too much fun to leave alone.

DiDio has stated that Barbara would not be walking again, at least during his time as head honcho.

Absolutely no word has been said about that since it happened. I fear it has suffered plot-point death.

True. But, he also wanted Dick Grayson dead.

She never died in "War Games." Her tower was attacked, but she never died. This did prompt her to leave Gotham, however.

Oh OK. I guess I misread everything. I thought she blew up the tower to keep Black Mask and the media from finding the truth and then in Face The Face (I think it was) It's brought up again that they dont have Oracle to link with...again, I guess I misread.

The Birds did mention it when they were trying to get Babs to admit being the new "batgirl".
