I know there's a few Pipeline regulars in the Sunshine State. Big campaign underway to make Florida the 11th Canadian Province!

Vote now!

Good marketing though eh? Apparently there are something 2 million Canadians who travel to Florida every year, and it's actually the Florida tourism board that's running this particular marketing campaign.

Florida is also where New York and New Jersey dump all of their old people.

It's fertile ground for northerners.

Oh yeah... you can add a bunch of New England people there too.

Yes, and you know what they do? They drive slowly and hang out in the grocery store. I dont mean they go to the grocery store to buy stuff, I mean they actually hang out in the aisles. Its like "Hey, whatever, its just me, hangin' out in the aisle. Whats up? I'm just hagin' out. No biggie."

I suppose this isnt fair to all canadians. Just Quebecians (?). But its like Captain America always says "Remember, kids, French-Canadians are just a bad as the real thing."

Aw, I'm just kidding. You guys are great.

Cute campaign. It's probably best if they don't let any Canadians actually see or talk to us Floridians. It'll go much smoother that way.

That's how I wound up here. Kidnapped in the middle of night, at the age of four, and still haven't managed to escape my captors. My mother really doesn't like it when I tell that to strangers, but dammit that's my side of the story and I'm sticking to it.

Fun Fact: The 2007 edition of the World Almanac lists the average annual precipitation for Florida--Miami at 58.53 inches. The second highest in the country. I still maintain that Florida was named the "Sunshine State" by someone who never lived here.
