I've read all the trades of Geoff Johns on The Flash, and absolutely love the simple, fun-as-hell stories he weaves. I'm more of a reader of the Vertigo line. Does anyone have any trades they could recommend from DC that may run along this same style of Johns' Flash?

Sadly no. Nothing else I've read by Johns comes close to the quality of his Flash run

I wouldn't say they're the same style as his Flash run, but you can't go wrong with anything written by Geoff Johns. His entire run of JSA was great stuff, if you're looking for a good read.

Johns's Green Lantern run isn't much different than his Flash run thus far. It's solid, but unspectacular.

Second the recommendation of JSA. And I think Mark Waid's Flash run beats Johns's any day of the week -- you might check that out as well.

Removes a vote from JSA. The comic was good while James Robinson was on it but got boring pretty quickly when he left

I guess it would be inflammatory of me to say that I thought the short run of Mike Baron and the run of Bill Loebs were infinitely better than Geoff and Mark's runs combined.

It's funny, most people i talk to about comics claim JSA by geoff johns are classics, black reign and black vengence, fair play/savage times

Robinson only co-wrote the Secret Files and the first five issues of the series. While there's no doubt he helped the Golden Age revival (with works like STARMAN and THE GOLDEN AGE), it was only after Goyer and Johns took over the book that people started to get interested in the series. Goyer and Johns made something almost thought impossible: they made Golden Age heroes relevant today.

Loebs maybe, but Mike Baron's run was piss poor

Horses for courses I guess. The Johns+Goyer team held my interest a little way, but I just found myself less and less interested. By the Fair Play storyline it was just silly and I was gone

I went through a big Mike Baron period when he briefly wrote Flash (Nexus and Badger messed with my head) so my acceptance of his writing on Flash is colored by that.
