Nightwing in '07

It being the new year and all I thought I'd kick off a thread about my favorite DC character and some of yours, Nightwing. As we all know this character has been beaten down to an all time low in the past 4-6 years. He was even slated to be offed in the crisis. But now we have the man who created the idenity known as Nightwing penning the book. With current filler arc Marv's written coming to an end how do you guys think he can or will improve on the book? Do you you think Jamal Igle's (replaces Jurgens in issue #129) can bring a style of art that suits what Dick Grayson is? Will this team do the character some justice? I just the Batman section could use some first son action.

Anyways happy new years and I appologize if this is a little sloppy, I'm a little drunk.

Marv has always been one of the top Nightwing writers. Even at his worst he is better than anything the two previous writers ever wrote. I’m hoping Marv will stay on the title for a few years because Nightwing fans deserve a decent write.

Jamal is a great artist and recently has been the artist for Firestorm. I'm looking forward to Jamal's art on Nightwing. Marv's recent arc has been good so far. It contains some good old detective work. My hopes for Nightwing to be written well have risen ever since Marv has taken over.

For this year, I'm getting Nightwing written by Marc Andreyko. It'll be the annual, so I'm happy there. Completing this thrilling journey would, should, know it could; Fabien Nicieza somehow, someway writing Nightwing. Fill in on his own title or the Outsiders. Let him quicken the pace of saving Grayson on that title, suffering from severe case of editorial fickleness. He'll bring a new voice and something for Winnick to work with as he gets caught up with scripts.

Fill in on solo title would not hurt at all either.

Nightwing is the spidey of DC and so should get better care. The charcter rocks in so many ways and the fact that Dido couldn't see it was worrying. Is he the right person to head DC?
