At least, now, we know why Ruth hates Blackwater so much...

Talk about public humiliation! Stripped naked, raped, and then pissed on in the face... jeebus.

Be interesting to see how she plays her cards now that Wes is gone...

This issue was actually pretty coherent. You see Ruth now, exacting more of her revenge. You see Ruth in the past, and what caused her hate of Blackwater, and you see a bit of Ruth with Wes in happier times. My only problem is the art seems every issue to get looser and rougher. But at least all of the characters here were different enough looking to tell them apart.

although this is a good jumping on point for non-readers. i didn't like how it was so easy and coherent. it all made sense and i didn't have to look back or re-read anything. hopefully it gets more abstract in the future issues.

wes's death makes more sense to the storyline now and i like the art even though it is hard to tell some characters apart at times.

Am I the only one that still has doubts about whether Wes died or not? I'm not counting him out until I see someone standing over his dead body.

Also, the boy that gave Ruth something to cover herself with in the past, was that the same kid that Wes sent out of town a few issues back?

for some unexplainable reason i think wes is really dead. but, i wouldn't be shocked if he showed up again.

i assumed the boy that helped ruth was the same one wes sent out of town. which makes sense if wes knew that ruth would take revenge on the town someday.
