Rainbow Six Vegas killed my Xbox 360!

So, I was playing Rainbox Six Vegas and suddenly the screen turns red and freezes. Now, my Xbox won't work anymore. Everytime I turn it on, the red lights around the on button turn on three quarters of a circle and that's it.

Am I screwed? What happened?

When did you get it and how long was the warrenty?

Didn't Microsoft say something about extending the warranty of 360s purchased at launch?

This should help, it's a hardware failure. Where and when did you get it? You might be able return it.

Yep, it's a hardware problem. I had no idea the Xbox 360s were this unreliable. Never had a single problem with my old Xbox. It's only a few months old so I'll take it back to the shop today.

The newer ones are supposed to be more reliable than the launch versions. If it didn't come with the media remote it's a second generation i believe.

Still, i got mine at Best Buy with the replacement plan just in case. Any problems and i can just swap it for a new one, no problem.

The 90 day warrenty has been extended to a full year, which I hope applies to your situation.
