I mostly got presents that were non-comic related whatsoever but my dad did gave me a nice bit of money to spend on whatever I wanted and I went out and bought some Avengers trades that I've had my eye on such as:

Avengers West Coast: Vision Quest
Avengers: Operation Galactic Storm Book 1
Avengers: Operation Galactic Storm Book 2

All three have some really good Avengers material and to my surprise the Byrne West Coast stuff was my first entry into the Avengers. Both carry a good degree of nostalgia for me as well since I bought them at the times that they came out.

Anybody here get christmas presents that were Avengers related o led them to getting cool Avengers swag?

I got all the marvel legend figures to make MODOK (spider woman, wasp and thorbuster iron man all are avengers related and MODOK is a Cap villain mostly) from my girlfriends mom, and a $25 gift certificate to my comic shop from her grandma that I used to buy some avenger comics (avengers 26)

That's some awesome stuff right there.

I'm still waiting for an opportunity to nab Destroyer to finish MODOK and have the actual figure. I might buy Thorbuster Iron Man with leftover x-mas money to recreate the fight between him and Odin powered Thor (coming soon!).

Alright.
Prepare to be amazed.
Not only did I score FOUR Marvel Masterworks hardbound volumes for myself for Xmas... one was even the Volume Six Avengers #51-58 plus the Annual #2 and X-men 45 (necessary to complete and explain the tale in the main title.)

But more than that... a co-worker had tipped me off that there were tee shirts going on sale at Wal-Mart that featured superhero logos.... so, I checked it out, and amoung the Superman, Batman and Spiderman logos... was a gray, long sleve "long john" shirt with an image of the original Avengers

We're not talking any Golden Avenger Iron Man in the clunky tin can here, but the modern Red and Yellow suit from Issue #3, PLUS the green Hulk, PLUS Captain America (who didn't join until #4). As a result, the grouping is unique, as it captures that moment in Avengers history when the Hulk was still considered to be part of the group and Cap had joined. Thor, Wasp and Giantman (in the back, but very visible) are all present.

The image is AWSOME!
I got it for Xmas and have been wearing it nightly to bed.
Too bad they didn't make bottoms! ;-}

I got a Captain America Shirt, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and Secret Wars T-Shirt

By the way Ultimate Alliance is like the most coolest game ever.....Cap just rocks in that game.

My parents bought me a couple of avengers essentials, the wal-mart avengers t-shirt and long john the other guy was talking about on here, and selected ant-man comics and the marvel legends figure.

my boyfriend got me, among other things, a gift certificate to my comic store that i'm going to use to buy some avengers marvel masterworks.

i got my dad the new thor heroclix, the thor essentials, a thor t-shirt and a thor figure.

I'm sad to say that I didn't get anything Avenger related. I did get Superman Returns: The Video Game, which I am having a hard time with. Since I felt a little let down I have bid on way too much back issues on ebay right now. I am hoping that I get out bid on a lot of it because I really didn't want to spend as much as I am. That's my Christmas, hope that everyone else had a good Christmas.

Just trade it in for Ultimate Alliance ;)

Does it count if I gave my kid the backpack edition of Marvel's All Ages line, Marvel Adventures, featuring the Avengers?

Well, Santa did!
