interesting. Wonder why knigwing was acting out of charcter

orginaly that was suspose to be Jason Todd. But thing change so he was kind of screwed. Which sad sense he the few that write Jason Todd well


then again I love knighwing, so if keeping him alive creates a story casulity in the outsiders, so be it


it would also make sense with the starting direction of knightwing now

That's what a lot of people assumed for a while now. Good to finally have it confirmed. The OYL for Outsiders most likely didn't need to be changed with the decision to keep Dick alive being passed down. Especially since that Nightwing comes off so well and badass if not a bit more on the violent side (how Jason should be after the Batman arc, with him trying to do right by not killing but going to that line). Unlike the Nightwing title which I beat had a massive rewrite into the "ugh" arc we got where Jason was made this insane killer to make Dick look good as a result.

I think when looked at in this context it shows that Winnick did have a plan for Jason and it was in the positive. So him getting the character back is still a good thing I feel.

Why was Jason Todd even brought back? I mean he was gone for over 10 years, that's long enough for me to keep someone dead permanently. Especially since the fans voted him dead no matter how small the margin was.

I know Nightwing was suppose to died in IC but I still see no reason why Todd needed to come back even if Nightwing died or not.

Stopped reading Wizard a while ago but thanks for that info. It confirms something I've thought for some time now.

no offence, but i couldn't get what the first poster said. I flipped through my Wizard but can't find the outsiders article... can someone point me to it?
