The boys of the cable and phone companies(AT&T and the rest) are
trying to convince congress to get rid of Net Neutrality....again.
Do what ever you can to help out by going to http://www.savetheinternet.com/ to have congress pass a law
to stop the corruptive companies from taking over the infomation
superhighway. Do it now!

Since I don't live in the US, I can't vote. But kudos, homeboy.
I sent an email to each of my senators, and my congressman.

How ironic I can finally use those pictures of Barack that were sent to me for a good cause.

"Again? That trick NEVER works."
Frankly, I don't think they're ever going to get anywhere with this. It's a waste of time. They try over and over and never get it. Give it up already, you greedy corporate bastards. :)

Try living in China. =] Not exactly the most net friendly country.
I can't even access random sites, like acecomics.com. Why the fuck is that blocked? I have no idea, but it is. >=[

That trick never works when we're paying attention.
They'll get it stuck on a bill, or get the bill rewritten after it's been voted on or some such.
I'm suprised anyone is still trying to make money out of the net.
It's almost like they'll have to leave it for the reasons it was created.

Its IP must be part of a major IP range that contains an important instutition that they consider to be inimical - like Amnesty International, or whatever. All IP blocking software (such as PeerGuardian, BlueTack, etc.) is by its nature inaccurate...

Um...thank you, no. ;)
On the other hand, welcome to CBR, and I'll be interested in hearing your viewpoints on a lot of things. I don't think we have anyone else here from China, do we?

Sweet, if I'm the only one! Just call me the Yellow Menace. :p
Fact: Chinese people refer to themselves as 'yellow' and they have no idea what political correctness is, let alone that saying 'yellow' is a no-no in the West.[/culture-lesson]

Wait...isn't it Yellow Peril...and Red Menace? Hmmm...I suppose, given the situation, combining the two wouldn't be inappropriate. ;)
