I been getting back issues of GL and other Parallax appeanrces and I am still having problems answering one question.......does yellow stop the powers of Parallax????

No. At that point, Hal's power had integrated and grown beyond the Central Battery. Likewise, Kyle's ring lost its weakness to yellow, too.

Definitely not , Parallax easily destroyed guy gardner's yellow sinestro ring on OA when guy brought a strikeforce to OA to investigate.

man, i woulda let the sun go down if i was him. sooooo, billions die, pshaaa. the universe would still have trillions more life forms to steal galactic lunch money from.

plus, with the new johns take on parallax, yellow was the cause of the insanity, and i guess, would know how to safeguard from yellow being used against it.

If the stupid DCU heroes woulda just let Hal bring back the multiverse then the Suneater disaster probably would have been avoided or could have been fixed without Hal having to give his life.
