I was wondering if anyone can compare both villains?
well in my opinion both are the evil twins of the heroes with similar powers like their counterparts. I believe Venom was inspired by Bizarro since Marvel and DC are rival companies in my belief.

Well, the "dark twin of a hero" concept didn't exactly start with Bizarro. Sherlock Holmes' Moriarty springs to mind, and I'm sure there are even earlier examples. It's a quite old and popular staple.

I don't think Venom was Marvel's answer to Bizarro. Almost every hero out there has some sort of evil twin. If anything Wolveriene's evil counterpart Sabretooth has been around since the 70's. Venom didn't show up until 1988. Iron-Man and Titanium Man. The Flash and Reverse Flash. The Batman and The Man-Bat, etc..
What's weird about Bizarro is that I seem to remember his powers even being reversed in the comics. Instead of cold breath, he had heat breath and instead of heat vision he had freeze vision. Talk about a cold stare *drum roll* Then again, the bizarre thing is that there has been three different versions of Bizarro. Oh, I'm on a roll. Hope you're reading this PAD!

I think Venom was inspired by Spider-Man artwork. Before Spidey got his symbiote suit in the #250s, there would often be a shadow of Peter Parker of a black shadowy Spider-Man with white eyes.
My theory is that the black costume came from playing with the artwork and these shadows. And Venom was a natural progression of the symbiote suit, wonderfully drawn my McFarlane. No Superman inspiration here.

Venom hates Spider-Man with a passion, knows his secret identity, is willing to hurt his loved ones, and is bigger/stronger than Spidey. There's also the tragic element that Spider-Man did bring the alien costume to Earth. And the idea that the alien costume could choose a new host is pretty cool.
I still prefer Bizarro, because of his skewed view of the world.
And the twists you could have with the character. The first Superman Bizarro story had two good ones, with the creation of a Bizarro Bizarro Superman, and Bizarro Lois.
But both are great villains.
