Hadn't read this mentioned before.

From a Newsarama interview with Dan Didio about DC's plans for 2007...

"Peter Branvold, a Western writer brought us the concept of Bat-Lash and began working with Sergio Aragones. Peter wanted Sergio involved from the start, because it was his character. Peter was brought in by Michael Wright, who's been moved over to a different area of the department, and the book was moved to Rachel Gluckstern, and she's the one who brought in John Severin who will handle the art on the miniseries."

Yeah, I saw it mentioned on another site..

I'm tentatively interested... but when I first heard about this project, Jordi Bernet was supposed to be drawing it.. and to be honest, I was more excited about that possibility than Severin. Not that I have any problems with Severin, he's a tremendous artist. I think it's just that I heard the Bernet thing first, so that's where my expectations were...

Severin is only my favorite artist ever, so I'd be pleased as punch were it announced that he'll be drawing the phonebook (or, for that matter, a 1968 young reader's book on The Adventures of Lewis & Clark ... yep, I've got it). Bat Lash? Way better'n that!

Infinite thanks for passing this along!

I hadn't heard a word about this, but I've got to say that if you can't get Nick Cardy to do Bat LAsh then John Sevrin is a more then acceptable replacement.

This should be just an awsome series.
