I received a copy of Image's import of THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ over the weekend. Picked it up too late to read it and review it for this week's column, but it is a stunning piece of work. Hope it reads as well as it looks.

I imagine it'll be available in stores this week. Freshly translated French comics for Christmas? MERRY XMAS TO US ALL!

The good news is that they kept the proper aspect ratio for the art, even if it means a slightly wider book than the rest of the titles on your bookshelf. It's a very stylistic thing, so your mileage will depend on your opinion of the overall style. I like the style, though, despite being Yet Another OZ book.

Ha Ha! I resist you call of jealousy. Mostly because not all of us share your love for French and or European comics. Hey, not everyone shares my love of manga, so to each his or her own. Now tell me you got a preview copy of Ultimate Wolverine/Hulk #3, then I would be jealous.:D
