Bleach and Naruto animes restarting manga storyline.

A lot of you probably already know this, but as a heads up for anyone who doesn't it looks like the Bleach and Naruto animes are both going to be going back to the manga storylines the second week of January, on the 10th and 11th respectively.

Naruto's anime I believe is being solicited as a brand new production, a second series going by the title Naruto: Wind(Gale/Hurricane) Saga--or something like that.

You mean they're getting the Hellsing OVA treatment?

Nah, they're both still TV series, and neither of them have retconned their filler, so its not the same thing as Hellsing Ultimate.

Well regardless it certainly looks like the episodes on the dates I gave will be from the manga, at least according to tv.com...

Is there a source that lists how the anime episodes and magna volumes that have been released here in the US match up for Bleach?

For example, I've been following Bleach on Cartoon Network, and I'm curious what volumes have already been covered by the first 15 episodes or so. I might want to start reading from there.

^Not sure, but read the explanation of the volume and look for talk of the Soul Society coming to claim Rukia, and then Ichigo rushing off to protect/save her.

That's the arc that will be starting this coming Saturday on AS.

Yes, that's exactly what they are doing, but its being launched as a new Naruto Series with its own subtitle.

Hmmm...that;s wierd but oo well,as long as it has just as good, or beter art, with a story that follows the manga pretty closely, I'll be happy, so is it going to be sordoff like the new pokemon series?

Yeah it looks like I was mistaken about Naruto, based on the titles of the next couple episodes it sounded like the filler was ending but I guess not. Bleach is definitely restarting the manga on that date though.

I don't know what source you're checking Nemo, but I'd keep my eye on the specific listing of the new subtitle, because even though they said a second Naruto series was being launched, oddly enough no one ever said anything about the current Naruto series ending.
