I was wondering if there is a book with all the marvel superheroes/villains in giving background information on them ?

There are at least two.

The Marvel Encyclopedia is probably the most accessible in terms of presentation and is widely available in bookstores, although it's somewhat flawed in places.

The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe is the most comprehensive, but all the collected version, while still incredibly worthwhile reads, are somewhat out of date. The current run is excellent, if you're in the mood for singles.

There are probably more, but they're slipping my mind at the moment.
