And it got publisheded! For reals!
http://www.leadingedgemagazine.com/purchase.php
It's in issue 52 of Leading Edge Magazine. You can order it from that link right up there. My story is "I Was A Twenty-Something Sidekick." It's at the back of the issue.
So everyone order it! I don't get residuals or anything, but it'd make me feel special!

First of all, congrats.
Second of all...
Leading Edge is a semi-professional magazine dedicated to the presentation of new and upcoming talent.
Cool.
We accept science fiction and fantasy short stories, novelettes, novellas, and poetry, as well as scholarly articles, book reviews, and interviews that deal with current popular authors.
Even cooler.
We do accept unsolicited submissions.
Right on.
We will not consider stories with sex, profanity, or excessive violence,
Fair enough, I guess, especially if it's an all-ages magazine.
or stories belittling traditional family values or religion.
What the fuck is that supposed to mean? What are "traditional family values"? What's considered to be "belittling" them? Sounds like a very strange caveat, and makes me hesitant to order the magazine, given what it's telling me (or not telling me) about the content of the mag.

I have a huge penis. (And the police will never find it or give it back to it's original owner.)
Oh, and congratulations.

That's awesome! It's such a terrific feeling being published (one I hope to have again in the future), a nice validation of all the hard work you put in.
