Or he has one of his little elf-flunkies (I'm sure there are still one or two) do all the invites - and that person is going off the list of guests from the 2003 MMC, or some list of notable professionals.

Contacting the advertisers won't do much good because they can't really do much about where google puts their ad, unless it was like a family friendly place and it was an x rated website or something...There are also comics-oriented banner ads on there, but they seem to be old ones. Clicking through on a few... here's one that goes to a page that doesn't exist any more. Here's another that goes to an ad site that was set up in '05, appears to have changed its name and not been updated since then. This time around, I don't see the ad for the "coming in August, 2005" comic I've seen before--ah, but here's one for a defunct publisher. This appears to be stale ad stock.

There was once a writers' workshop that Misty & I did that turned into all kinds of drama. We got stiffed for room expenses, yada yada, and all was eventually not so much resolved as it was dismissed by us for not being worth the negativity. Yet, right up 'til the thing folded up years later, we were still on their mailing lists, and I laughed everytime the "Oh noes! Financial trouble! Put your early entries in now or there may not be a workshop this year!" notices came out on the list. Much like the defendant's efforts, numerous A-listers were there---once.

I mention it because, well, it was a comic book convention and the paramecium thinks he knows how to put one on. Plus there were a few cool things - like the short film Razor Sharp (http://www.razorsharpmovie.com). It was really well done.

And through it all, I have to admit I was thinking "Nyah, nyah, nyah" toward a certain person in upstate New York. Oh! And I did get to meet Nat Gertler - we were both hob-nobbing with Marv Wolfman at the time.

Did you guys ever go to Photon? Man, I haven't thought about that in YEARS...I think it was in Glenwood? I went to about ten birthday parties there between the ages of ten and thirteen. It was the shit.

I agree.

Although while on the same topic, but not a direct relation to the aforementioned offspring can I just state for the record how absolutely SICK I am of these little suburban white kids that glom onto the urban hip hop culture and have the audacity to call people out on being "posers?"

Go back to country music.

Um no sir, not as long as it's that good ol' fashioned country music about stompin' a mudhole in them darn dirty forigeniers!

Actually I have nothing against country.. or REAL country which was little more than a derrivitive of the blues. But this new junk that's so nationalistic and very "freedom 3" annoys the hell out of me. It's starting to be for rednecks what hip hop is to "straight up g's fool" :p

Just constant reveling in stereotype, and playing it off as "the real deal". We need more Johnny Cash's and less whoever that guy was that wanted a steel cage match with the Dixie Chicks, and whoever keeps Larry The Cable Guy relevant.

See, I'm a grumpy old man (*gasp* 26, to the retirement home with me) when it comes to music. I'm angry at everything post 1994. :p

After '94 it all went to hell.

Damn kids today, they wouldn't know real music if it bit 'em on the ass.. with their "Fallout Boy" band named after a simpson character.. :p I admit the songs are lame but the titles make me laugh. I saw one on TV once called "This ain't a scene, it's an arms race" and for some reason I just imagined Bruce Willis saying that in a bad action movie bar scene.

But seriously... American Idol needs to stop. GET OUT THERE AND PLAY GODDAMN DIVE BARS LIKE REAL MUSICIANS!

Danny, although I just recently bought a new digital camera, I haven't yet determined if the upload software will run on my "ancient" (as in 2000) machine. I need to try that out first. Otherwise, it'll be trips to the shop to have pix burned to disk until I can get the new laptop with all the bells and whistles (probably later this year - letting Vista shake down first, plus calculating the budget).

But I fully intend to get lots of cool pix at San Diego. (I'm excited - the chip for the camera is a 1 gig! And I can do panorama shots too! Olympus 240)

Man...that's pretty general...

I'm pretty much of an opinion (that never lets me down), shared with Sturgeon's Law, that 90% of everything is crap. Equating brilliant originals like The Carter Family, Roy Acuff, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, George Jones, Ray Price, Patsy Cline, Conway Twitty--even down to David Allan Coe, Dwight Yoakam and Jason and the Nashville Scorchers, with Toby Keith, Garth Brooks, Hank Jr. and any half dozen pre-packaged commodities, is on so many levels an obscene blasphemy. That ain't country, it's homogenized corporate pop with a southern drawl, and is hopelessly spineless and dishonest, creatively. No hunger to it. I DO hear Hank the Third is doing interesting material, following in his grandpa's footsteps, and has some soul, figuratively speaking...

,,,but I'm just a failed (before you could get record contracts for not sucking), former 'art rock' singer-songwriter-musician, who can still kill with "He Stopped Lovin' Her Today', 'Only Make Believe' or Hank's 'Ramblin' Man'--who grew up in the south. What would I know?

There's a lot more that I like than dislike.... For example, I thoroughly dislike the 70's and early 80's "country" that was a combo of electric piano and electronic enhanced voices. ("Morning Train", anyone? brrrrrr... ) Some good stuff in there, but few and far between. And I'm not a fan of Garth Brooks or Reba McEntire. I feel both are over-hyped.

To give you an idea of what I like..... Yes, current country is not perfect, but overall it's highly enjoyable. Everything from Clint Black to George Strait to Brooks & Dunn to Gretchen Wilson to Big & Rich to, yes, even Cowboy Troy. Matter of fact, I think the best song to not be played on the radio was "King of the Road" by a duet of Randy Travis and Josh Turner.

Another sad story from http://www.unscrewedcomic.com

Hello,

My name is Cesar Feliciano and I am part of that dubious list of Rick Olney's work for hire artist. I have been waiting for almost two years to recieive my fist penny from Mr. olney and I thank God that I did not hold my breath for that (I'd be one dead artist by this time). I have been wieghing my options and am thankful that there is comraderie and commonality that we all share. I look forward to posting more info and friendly post as I get to know more and more people on this site.

While working with Rick Olney and his now defunct TightLip Entertainment comics company, I was responsible for the pencils on Monster Squad and did many pin-ups and character designs for Mr. Olney.

I to like many here was made many promises and assurances that were never met or followed through with. This has left me with a bad taste in my mouth and a certain level of displeasure with this man.

Throughout my whole experience with Mr. Olney I was told how important and vital I was to the project that I was working on and how there were many great plans that included me. I bought into many of these stories only to be left with nothing but empty and vain words.

I gave up much while I was working with Mr. Olney and really felt that this would be my opportunity to finally see my dream of making it in the comics business come to fruition. I lost my job during the time that I was working with Rick Olney and TightLip Entertainment.

To give you an example of what this man does and is about let me share this story with you. When I lost my job I was down to a few dollars in my bank account. I told Mr. olney about my situation and he told me that he would like to help me out. I wanted to thank him because I have 5 kids and I needed to buy them some groceries so that they could eat.

He proposed that I do a couple of pin-ups for him and told me that he would pay me a cetain amount for them. I was thankful for this opportunity and told him that I would get right on it. I proceeded to get 2 fully penciled and inked done, foregoing sleep to get these to him so that I could get the money for my families needs. Needless to say I did the work and was assured that payment was sent out. Three days go by and still no check.

i called him and he told me that his bookeeper never wrote the check but that he would get it taken care of post haste. Another three days goes by and when I asked him about the money he told me that he had to get rid of the bookeeper and hire a new one, keep in mind that I still had no work and no income and our food was running out quickly.

He told me that the check was sent out. four days go by and still no check. I called him again and he told me he apologized and said he would write the check from his own checking account, I was very wary at this time but told myself that I did what he asked and he would pay me.

Big, big, and wrong assumption. After a week I called him back and he told me that had not yet mailed that check. I reminded him that HE had offered to help me and my family out. HE was the one that requested these images from me. also that HE was the one was had not kept the agreement. He said that he was sorry and that HE would make it up to me.

There is a little more to this story but you get the point. This is NOT a nice man. He has shown that he is cold hearted and uncaring and not someone that can be trusted. I thank God that my family pitched in and helped out with my need.

Here are the images prepared for Mr. Olney:

http://farm1.static.flickr.com/167/428528297_464013267f_b.jpg (http://farm1.static.flickr.com/167/428528297_464013267f_b.jpg)

Needless to say I am not pleased with Mr. Olney or his practices and I know that people like him get what they deserve in the end. This man is nothing but a wrecker of dreams and a scourge to the honest hard working people involved in this industry who do things above board and desire to make comics because they LOVE it.

My name is Cesar Feliciano and this is one of my stories

It took me THREE TRIES to get through this story just because I am so disgusted with how common this is with people who deal with Rick.

You know what really amazes me? Look at those pages. Cesar -- like so many of Olneys orphans, has real, genuine talent. With he people he'd pulled together, Olney could have made some quality, entertaining comic books. Instead he cheated people, screwed them over and ruined any semblance of a reputation he ever had.

I had a serious adolescent crush on both Rosanne and Emmylou Harris (that voice!), and I enjoyed their recent Austin City Limits, immensely. Prine? No comment--except, if yer gonna sing like Dylan, at least write half as well. Hiatt is the only one of that group who makes me go 'WHOA!', as a songwriter & performer. He's JJ Cale, Tom Waits or Leonard Cohen-level, of brave, smart and emotion-evoking.

That is purty art...

It makes sense because no matter how good the writer or how good the artist, the books would have bombed. They had a lousy editor. A good editor would have looked at Monster Squad and knew that it would not have been good enough to really be successful. A good editor would have looked at the horror show (har har) of Keith Giffen's Howling Commandos and said, "not now, in a few years."

Olney knew that the most he could hope for, in his wildest dreams, was moderate success....but knew there was a good chance he could fail. So he sabotaged himself before it got off the ground and did it in a way so that in his mind he can blame others. And now, instead of being a moderate success he is a spectacular failure...and in Olney's mind that is good enough.

Blake Petit
03-20-2007, 04:52 PM
Don't misunderstand me now, TC -- I'm not saying "Monster Squad" ever would have been a success. I'm saying that with the level of talent he pulled in, he could have created a line of comics that WOULD have been a success.

I understand you....I am saying that I doubt these books would ever be a success because while the artists and the writers have talent, the editor (Olney himself) had none. He knew this and he sabotaged himself because of his own fears.

pRick's an Antibody--a obstructive, living 'stopgap' for anything getting out that's worth half a damn, down here in the 'minors'. He may have actually started with good intentions (EXTREMELY arguably) but I honestly think he unconsciously knows what a mediocre mind and talent he possesses, resentment builds, and it totally 'flips a switch' in his head when anyone questions his authority, his delusional beliefs, or especially--asks for money.

Cesar (MAN--what a tear-jerker) and a bunch of people we know were suckered into this debacle, or were thwarted and robbed of work by his unscrupulous behavior in some way (as I was). It is as if his entire will is dedicated to causing interference to anyone actually deserving reward for their achievements.

I offered to be his EIC, after pointing out (with extreme self-control) that the ideas he'd had (I thought he'd just gotten a hold of some bad writers--didn't know it was him) were kinda lame, but when I mentioned it, I never heard back. Until a month later when I blew my top, after I'd found out he was pissing people off on the AC board and other forums, and actively undermining Green Lama's release. I would have done an 'Al Feldstein'--attempt to find even better unsigned Indy talent than myself, let them do whatever the hell they want, express themselves, and he would have had some pretty amazing, smart 'Vertigo-ized' Super Hero books. YEAAAH...but all of them folks teeter on 'either/or' Folk/Blues/Rock/Crossover--of course, so did Rosanne's daddy and mommy, at times.

Indeed.

Prine? No comment--except, if yer gonna sing like Dylan, at least write half as well.

Prine would half to mainline cold medicine to write only half as well as Dylan.

Bah, I say. Bah to you!

Hiatt is the only one of that group who makes me go 'WHOA!', as a songwriter & performer. He's JJ Cale, Tom Waits or Leonard Cohen-level, of brave, smart and emotion-evoking.

I'll agree with you here, though.

Reading Cesar's story makes me glad I got some items from the auction even though I'm a little strapped for cash myself right now. I mean, I bitch and moan about money, but I never have to worry about food, and I don't have a family to support.

I'm really saddened to hear about Cesar's story. It's makes me ill just thinking that there are people out there searching for those who are at weak points in their lives and without hesitation, do everything they can to exploit them.
Rick just proves time and time again how much of a cruel and heartless person he is.

Danny, did Ceasar get hold of you thru the UNSCREWED! site? I've been having a bitch of a time figuring out my email there (which is my fault completely; I've never seen the inner workings of a site before). He's in one of the Yahoo groups I belong to so I'm gonna try to hunt him down thru there.

Damn, I can so identify with what Ceasar was saying. I mean, I heard that same crap almost word-for-word. As did Ronee and Danny and David and so many more of us.

This is exactly what UNSCREWED! is about.

The more I read, the more disgusted I become. He complains about us being stalkers!?! He's a fecking predator for God's sake! He might as well be waiting at the art school with a bunch of ribbons he 'acquired' at the dollar store.

This is also why everyone needs to speak up. Even if you still cling to the fleeting hope you're gonna see some sort of financial reward, your story needs to be heard. Your voice needs to be added. Moby's empty threats of 'leggal' actions become emptier every passing day. He's bullied enough creators to let this go on even one more day.

Yeah, but to hire someone who tells you that he needs work because he's got a family to feed and assure him it'll be fine and specifically offer this as a way for him to make some money fast with no intention of paying- that, to me, takes malice aforethought. It's one thing to be a deadbeat, another to seek out vulnerable targets to exploit.

Here is the an illustration of events that led to my e-mail from Mr. Olney in which I am now being threatened with a lawsuit. . .

1/19/2007

Rick,

Attached you will find a copy of the invoice for the work I produced for you per our written and verbal agreements. Please be advised that I am looking to be compensated in full for this work. I have been very patient and have waited for you to reciprocate in kind. Unfortunately I find myself still waiting for my payment and am starting to become quite preturbed. Please take care of this matter expiditiously as there are still many recourses available to me.

Sincerely,

Cesar

Response-1/23/2007
Cesar:

You probably wouldn't care to know this, but I never put you in the
same 'boat' with JT or Jeff. But I'll tell you, I was advised to not
communicate with you. But I'm going against that because I know you're
owed an explanation.

First, nothing has changed.

I have been following JT's nonsense on the "Gail Simone" thread
intended to target and destroy me, and if you're "Howler" there then
you've partaken in those actions.

Civil lawsuits are being prepared for a number of people, on a number
of levels of this nonsense. The harrassment here at my home, coupled
with threats and online libel isn't going to stand. Vigilante
'justice' is against the law. Harrassment, online stalking, with
nobody caring that a real world exists.

Originally, this all started out with me explaining to you, Jimmy, JT,
and Jeff that you'd need to be patient until the two books were done
and printed to get compensated. I made a mistake in listening to Dave
Lanphear. And there are parts of the big picture that you won't know
and can't be told, but I sincerely and deeply regret what happened to
you and Jimmy.

You had -- and still DO -- have legal recourse, obviously. You've
ALWAYS had that. But stealing my characters isn't one of those
recourses, despite what some "professional" people think and say
publicly. Anyone that signed an NDA and then broke it under whatever
circumstances is being sued.

You just attempted to join the MMC again. Why? What was that all
about? Looking for crap to smell?

"Gail" did a nice job of lumping this all into a huge ball of bullshit
based on half truths and fed off of animosity.

It'll begin to sort itself out shortly. Contrary to rumor, I do have
an attorney ... well, actually a couple now ... and people like JT
will have his answers shortly. These things take time.

If Chuck Dixon hadn't been such a dick this matter would've all been
solved by now. And, when it is all sorted and people have their
answers they'll realize that it was "Gail" that played them, not me.

I made plenty of mistakes on my own. But I'm not knocked out of the
ring, and I'm CERTAINLY not giving in to MOB tactics. You can 'push'
me, but that isn't going to get you paid any quicker. Sorry.

Response-1/23/2007
Rick,

I don't know of any "Gail Simone" forum or anything else. As a matter of fact since we last spoke I have not really talked with anyone other than Jimmy. We have discussed teh payment matter but are both working on other things together and don't really have time to get wrapped up in slander.
I can to an extant appreciate your situation but please don't lump me in with all of your "attackers", I am not one of them. I am treating this situation as professionally as possible without getting wrapped up in the drama and resorting to verbal gutteral and such. I don't hate you nor dislike you, I only want to be paid for what I produced. As far as the NDA I have not spoken to anyone to the best of my recollection and don't intend to as my life is busy enough without adding legal issues to the mix.
As to why I asked to be on the forum again, quite simply i never asked to be removed. i liked going on and seeing what was going on and when I found out I was disallowed admittance i signed up again, it's that simple.
Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Cesar-

Response-1/25/2007
Cesar,
Are you willing to come back onboard at TLE?

Response-1/25/2007
Rick,

Here's the deal. If you can make good on what I am owed then I will have no problem coming back on board. I am not saying this to be stick in the mud just simply to make sure that we'll be starting off on solid ground.

Thank you,

Cesar-

Response-1/25/2007
Cesar,
I can do that. I will need a little time to run this past my attorney, but I'll contact you again sometime this weekend. He will no doubt send you a legal statement in effect stating that you have not broken your NDA in any respect via an affidavit. So you're aware, we expect to find out who "Howler" was online at CBR after the IP's are culled legally. If it was a talent that has a NDA on file they'll be sued in civil court.
And, no, I'm not kidding. Thank you for being sensible.

Response-3/12/2007
Cesar,
Want a guest invite to the June MMC? I should have money to you and
maybe have you paid before that date. You can wait and answer after
I've paid you. I have not forgotten you.

--
Best Regards,
~Rick

Response-3/18/2007
Hi Cesar,
I've been told by a lil bird that you're joining up against me. Is that true?

I know that it has been nearly 60 days past our last communication ... but I really do have intentions of reaching a settlement with you. If what I'm told is true, and if you and Jim Tournas are filing against me ... then I can assure you that you'll each join Jim Taylor in being pulled into a much more involved legal battle. Bank on it. So, then I guess all I can tell you is that by breaking your non disclosure agreement and by not fulfilling your contract you've compromised your position. Sorry that you couldn't wait to see this all settled. Cases like these, this size, and as complicated do not get solved over night. I'll await to get my notification. My attorney will be there at court to represent my interests. He has the details. Sorry it ended this way, mister.

Response-3/20/2007
Cesar:

You will now be served and sued for failing to uphold your non-disclosure agreement with me. Sorry that your faith ran out.

Response-3/20/2007
Rick,

I find it odd that you are willing to sue me. As I see it I have not broken the NDA in any way since I shared no information about any characters or stories I was involved in. All I simply did was share a story off how you simply lied to me time and time again. You have shown a blatant disrespect for honor and dignity and have used your position to step on the good faith and trust in people such as myself. I have always taken a civil tone with you and will continue to do so as long as I am able. But let me tell you this, you have been in breach of contract and have not paid out wages that were due to me for the work that I produced for you. This reaks of indecency and bad business practices. I was not the one who did not meet their commitment it was you and your many unkept promises. I wish you no ill will only suffice it to say that you be careful how you threaten me or any decent person it does not sit well with certain people.

Respectfully,

Cesar

Cesar posted this at the Unscrewed! site, but I just felt that his exchange with the vile one should be shared here as well. I deleted (I think I got all of them) Cesar's last name... in case he didn't want that posted (though it IS there on his original post)... out of respect for the guy. He was the best man at my wedding,... we've been pals for along long time. (Though don't ask him how long, he forgot when he made the speech at the reception... but that's another story).

As you can see... I'm the point man in Slime sucker's attacks here (which makes me demand a recount for the "Dirty Dozen"...!) as to receiving his "leggal wrath". For my "nonsense"... (since Jan 23 at least! How slow are the legal braintrust's he's hired?) BTW... Jeff... see? You got a mention in there too! So he hasn't forgotten ya!!

I know a lot of you felt bad before reading about Cesar's situation (and I can assure you, he's a proud Hispanic male... so it takes a bit to open up like that)... but I just felt that the ranting one's back and forth with him (before Cesar even joined up), should be made public... if anything... to be copied and tossed into the Olney vaults!!

I'll let the writers amongst you, tear apart the horribly mangled English, as well as the loopy logic of Sir Vile. I only posted what was there.

Another sad story from http://www.unscrewedcomic.com

It took me THREE TRIES to get through this story just because I am so disgusted with how common this is with people who deal with Rick.
...
Like its been said before, Rick Olneys behavior shows pretty much the symptoms of a sociopath. Absolutely no compassion for others hardship, always focused upon himself, trying to con people, inflated idea about himself, etc.

Jesus... he hires people who are in terribly bad situations, make them work for him, promises to *help* but just lies more until their lives go to hell.

That man *has* to be taken down.

Inkpot1965
03-21-2007, 06:36 AM
Yeah, but to hire someone who tells you that he needs work because he's got a family to feed and assure him it'll be fine and specifically offer this as a way for him to make some money fast with no intention of paying- that, to me, takes malice aforethought. It's one thing to be a deadbeat, another to seek out vulnerable targets to exploit.

All I'm saying is, I think it's a reflex with Rick. The individual situation has little to do with it where he's concerned. And Rick invents his own reality, so things like morals can't get in the way.

But that in no way excuses his tendency to be a complete scumbag.

Cam63
03-21-2007, 06:40 AM
Well, Rick is bringing in big names like some guy who met Lou Ferrigno and another guy who can kinda sorta draw Bart Simpson!

Yes, dragging its (I refuse to call the Dickless Wonder a "he" any longer, that would imply it's a man, or at least male, and we all know it's neither) family and children into it is wrong, I agree. However, the Dickless Wonder has MORE than earned every insult and bit of vitriol thrown at it and then some.

Here's a real kick inna head:

Moby is trying to make in-roads back into the small press community (the same community he called a 'clique' and supposedly washed his hands of back in December); and in some of the Yahoo groups, he's only more than happy to buy as many publications as he can get his pre-washed hands on.

So, he's got the money to buy comics (knowing damn well there aren't many comp copies to go around so he can scrounge reading material that way) but he's been 'advised' not to waste the effort on the actual people he owes.

Kinda like getting a credit card and using it to buy a new HD-teevee rather than paying off the home theatre system you got a few months ago.

Y'gotta little brown on your nose there, Moby.

JT thanks for posting that here. I hadn't been to Unscrewed! yet today.

My mouth fell open at his comment about Chuck ('cause, you know, he's a friend). But the immense NERVE of the paramecium! Because really! It does NOT take months and weeks to do even a preliminary tracking of an IP, especially if one has cause. (Heck, I once tracked an IP back to a specific dorm desk in under 2 days - a troll on Dixonverse several years ago.) He's full of crap. And his propensity for paranoia and assuming that one person is someone else using a screenname -- it's silly. (He once made the assumption that a Dixonverse poster - who has ALWAYS used his real name as his screenname - was using a pseudonym. Because isn't that what everyone does?)

But the rest of it???? He keeps doing this, even after we've proven we're serious about the legal side of things? That we, in fact, have a far better grasp of "the real world" than he does? AAAAAaggggghhhhh!

Cesar presented himself as rational, insightful, almost apologetic in his correspondence with Moby. There was nothing antagonistic or confrontational, apart from his 'unreasonable' demands Moby pay up.

And how does the Flatulent One respond?

'Lawyer!'

'Sock-puppet!'

'Want back in? Then beg me!'

WTF!?!

And though I never bothered saving his inane email rantings, what he wrote to Cesar shows explicitly his mindset of world: you're either against him, or you will be against him.

That's why he sends those 'warnings' at the bottom of emails to his friends; that's why he archives emails from friendly correspondence (which are either stored in the computer that was destroyed or can't be found at the moment); that's why everyone must sign an NDA.

Gotta be mighty lonely when there's a conspiracy around every corner.

Plus you could just go to the Big Apple Con being held at the same time in NY and actually see celebrities and real comic book artists. Here's a bit of fun. Some of you may know about the Comic Artists Guild (CAG) - Keith Murphy started it in NY, and it's spread to many chapters across the country. The CAG has member dues and local meetings, etc.

Our friend Jason Dube just posted this on the CAG yahoo site:

Starting a new FREE comicbook creators group for those living in Sacramento. The group
will meet once a week for about an hour in various locations in Sacramento, CA. to discuss
news, events, tips, and up-coming conventions. For seasoned pros or new comers to the
comic book industry. Follow the link below to join up directly...

I replied with:

Wow, slap the CAG in the face with THAT. What style.

Aren’t you the Jason Dube that’s working with Rick Olney? PHeh.

Go, be "FREE."

What kind of creep goes into a group with hundreds of paying members and says "hey join my group, come to my meetings, I'm FREE!!!"

I've known vomit that had more integrity than Rick.

Disgusting. It's like watching roadkill after the maggots get ahold of it.

Makes me sick to read his bullshit.

I see he's changed the "free give-away" text again...

Anyone else get the feeling that this is his new way of sounding off against this board...since he's set his own ramblings to "private" now (@ MySpace) and was banned here?

Whatta putz.

I think it's funny that he can't even manage a cohesive sentence in English.

Gail, I couldn't agree more.

I just felt it had to be shown here. Hope you weren't eating when you saw it... would be a shame to kill one's appetite like that.

Though, it COULD be a whole new successful diet! "New... The Olney Diet... read his diatribes, and watch the pounds just MELT away!!"
