If I can interject -- The insults from my earliest posts sparked personal attacks. That is all documented. I reacted poorly by responding back, but my replies ... even after I removed them ... were no effective counter slam on the parties involved. That much has been stated (and recorded) here.
"Everything" will be decided for its lie potential. There are areas of 'Talent' matter to be addressed, along with those perpetuating the outright 'gang type' bullying and broken civil laws.
Again, NOBODY here has the facts of what took place with TightLip Entertainment's 'talent' problem. It is complex and secured with legal wordage only lawyers can untangle. Those 'talents" posting here complicated the matter themselves. A Contract, while left broken or unfulfilled by either party doesn't supercede the legally signed NDA's and other, as yet made public information pertaining to the matter. Motive and motivation will stay in discovery and investigative stage for as long as it takes to ascertain the facts. Charting lies takes time!
Meanwhile, NOBODY has infringed upon the rights of those 'talents' feeling allegedly aggrieved. Nobody has talked ill of them.
CYA!
But still no one is being paid, right?
Deadbeat.

TLE was never dissolved according to the filing office. Our accounts remain intact and have never wavered. Same company. I merely refiled to allow for two areas that we're expanding into at some future date.
Again, when you seek truth... you talk to people that would know. Not liars perpetuating lie upon lie upon lie.
Stillwell, I have decided with your freely using my wife's name to have you formally investigated. We've had safety concerns here within my family and I'm not going to sit idle while you paint your lies and possibly compromise the safety of my family.
Moby, admit you lied. You said nothing changed about TLE, but then you say in your next breath that everything has changed (for 'future endeavors'; been reading up on the J-Bolt Handbook of How Not to Publish Comics?). I'd say you're the one perpetuating lie upon lie, but that would imply 'effort'.
I love the line, 'I have decided.' Wouldn't that be something the law would have to decide? Like, say, the police? Your attorney? Local or federal investigators? It's no wonder the lawbooks are getting all faded; you keep waving 'em around as if they actually apply to something.
Tell me something, Moby: when it turns out that none of us here have had anything to do with those 'threats', can we sue you?
Again?

The only appropriate response to this is "bullshit."
If your "talent problem" is really "complex and secured with legal wordage only lawyers can untangle" it's because you want it that way. You deliberately use needlessly complex and convoluted language in order to avoid paying people and to deliberately make dealing with you difficult. You are creatign legal obstacles on purpose, because you are an asshole.

Tim,
I have been holding back on taking any action towards you because of my personal knowledge (via our now lost friendship) of how your life has been. I didn't want to pull you into this all. But you're perpetuating this and you've said enough to be evaluated legally. Obviously, you know that one person taking on this many people has lots of things needing to be charted and catalogued -- much as you all have chosen to make note of my every post.
I'm not answering your questions. I only know that your many, many emails to me along with what you told others ... does not equal how you claim to be 'damaged' as a person.
You can 'sue' me if you have an attorney willing and capable to put a case together based on civil statues. Again, nobody ever kept you from taking any step you felt necessary. I mean, regarding this mob you joined and helped spur on. How culpable you are remains to be seen by those on this side of the fence that handle those areas.
You calling me "Moby" is just as childish as the "Dick" and "peanut" references. They show more than you can imagine.

Here's the thing about Tony and the 2003 MMC:
I remember getting a phone call the week after that show.
You were on the other end, Moby, bitching and moaning about how bad the reviews from Tony (and Jen) were. Tony, please tell me you still have that piece online somewhere so every can see just how bad it was.
If Olney was complaining about that column, then even his basic reading skills have to be called into question. It was an exceedingly kind review, written in the spirit of not kicking someone when he was down.
It's online here:
http://www.worldfamouscomics.com/tony/back20030712.shtml
I'd have to check my files to be sure, but I think Olney was booted from my message board for the third and final time just after the column ran.
Anyway, I was not aware of the problems the other guests were having with Olney at the time I wrote the review. As I stated way earlier in this thread, my experience was a good one...through no doing of Olney's. I got to spend a wonderful weekend with my son and met some friends, old and new.
Olney (or someone) paid for our motel room, which was of poor quality, but about what I expect for such a small venue.
He had promised to pay my mileage, but, knowing he had to be losing his shirt on the show, I told him to donate that money to whatever charity that his auction was allegedly supporting. I never followed up on whether or not he ever made that donation.

The insults from my earliest posts sparked personal attacks. That is all documented. I reacted poorly by responding back, but my replies ... even after I removed them ... were no effective counter slam on the parties involved. That much has been stated (and recorded) here.
Let me ask you something then, in all seriousness:
If someone calls attacks you verbally, is the only proper response to fire back? Would it not have been far more effective to be the bigger person (glares again)? Why is it that all confontation must be on a schoolyard level.
I'm a parent. To me, what you are saying is 'he started it". My daughter is six and knows that this is not a valid argument.
"Everything" will be decided for its lie potential. There are areas of 'Talent' matter to be addressed, along with those perpetuating the outright 'gang type' bullying and broken civil laws.
I do not mena for this to be rude... but do you mind reparsing this run-on sentence? I am not proccessing it at all.
Again, NOBODY here has the facts of what took place with TightLip Entertainment's 'talent' problem.
Does that include yourself?
Would you include Doc Absurd in that? You had, after all, cited him previously to a journalist, saying they should talk to him. What are we to make of this?
What about what we all tinessed, when Ronee said she would sign a document in this very thread and you apparantly changed your mind? Are we missing something there?
It is complex and secured with legal wordage only lawyers can untangle. Those 'talents" posting here complicated the matter themselves.
What impact does your posting here have, if any?
A Contract, while left broken or unfulfilled by either party doesn't supercede the legally signed NDA's and other, as yet made public information pertaining to the matter.
Speaking as a former publisher and as someone whose dayjob involves quite a few NDAs, I'm confused by what you seem to be saying here. Unless an NDA specifically mentions it, breach of contract is almost never covered by an NDA. Are you saying you included that clause?
Motive and motivation will stay in discovery and investigative stage for as long as it takes to ascertain the facts.
This sounds very impressive. What does it mean?
Meanwhile, NOBODY has infringed upon the rights of those 'talents' feeling allegedly aggrieved. Nobody has talked ill of them.
First let me be pendactic: One cannot Feel allegedly aggrieved. One can be allegedly agrieved or one can feel aggrieved. One cannot be both.
Secondly, have you not, in this very thread, threatened people's right to free speech? Are you implying your rights have been infinged on? How? Namecalling? You've done the same. It cannot be your freedom of speech, as you were not banned. In fact, the moderators have been so kind as to safeguard your freedom of speech, making sure none of the posts can be edited.
Lastly, several people here feel that their rights have been aggrieved by not being paid in a timely manner.

But the mean spirited social agenda isn't going to gain him any new 'fans'I have trouble seeing warning people about a bad actor in the field as being a "mean spirited social agenda".But I doidn't bring his name up in my discussions and conversations until he thought by talking about me ... it would make him a bigger person.I'm not able to parse this construct. However, it seems you're thinking other people shouldn't be talking about you unless you are talking about them, and I cannot say that I agree with that. You've courted attention in various ways, and it's not reasonable to then expect that people will only consider those items you wish them to consider from the viewpoint that you wish to present. Now, as to addressing TLE's production efforts -- We're still in business and still planning on having a representation set for June.I'm not clear what "representation" is. Do you mean you'll publish a comic? And if so, are you planning traditional direct market distribution? Have you already solicited the book for distribution?
I never approached this publishing endeavor as wanting to be a "Tony Isabella" ... so much as I merely needed to take a shot at my self publishing goal. I don't stand on the shoulders of other people where my writing is concerned. That's a curious claim. If your goal was self publishing, then why hire the services of Chuck Dixon -- he did some writing for your book, right? Is it perhaps that you wanted the added attention to your work that his involvement would bring, that your writing might stand on his shoulders (so to speak)?
Please don't buy anything I've written or plan to print, market, and release.I certainly don't plan to. Not that I've seen much sign that I will ever encounter such material to purchase.

I've gotten magazines national distribution, I've worked for a top company, worked with them hollywood types (not the JL thing, like I said I chickened out of that.) I've been published in indie magazines a dozen times over. I've done TV, and print interviews with things in a lot of places.
And yeah, I manage to get by with my output. (well some years are better than others)
Yeah, that's lack of talent right there. I've never said I was Alan 'freakin' Moore but I've done a damn sight more than sitting around bitching at people who don't like me. (not that I haven't done my share of it.. but like I said I'M A KID!!!!!)

I was removed from your forum over a remark about the poor French "frying" in that heat that held France helpless a few years back. You then insulted my Veteran status. But that has also taken place here, so birds of a feather still flock together. Your liberal views are disgusting.
Anyway, I was not aware of the problems the other guests were having with Olney at the time I wrote the review.
There were no other problems, liar.
As I stated way earlier in this thread, my experience was a good one...through no doing of Olney's. I got to spend a wonderful weekend with my son and met some friends, old and new.
Yeah, riiiiight...
Well, at least we got you to state the truth of that situation. You and your son were my guests. How nice a time you both had is, and was, a reflection of the hard work by those involved.
Like "Gail's" lies about how she and her husband got to Syracuse that evening ... you piss and moan here now to simply show how you can bully and belittle the efforts done back then on your behalf. I didn't pick the accommodations. I had never stayed there. Herkimer, fortunately isn't like the upcoming June MMC venue site. So I'm not worried about our guests having a bad time there. It is an A+ rated hotel.

Anyway, on the Benny G. Leal subject -- Benny joined the ORComx APA a number of years ago after joining ORCA to interact with other comic book readers. Remarks attempting to connect me to his other personal interests have been noted and again, fall outside legally acceptable standards of behavior. My side of this will also be making his legal representation aware of what's been stated here and by whom. Mr. Leal's personal life choices are his own. And, unlike the bunch of you... I don't judge outside of proper context. Likewise with the harrassment emails sent to members of my family and the online hack attempts. There is no rush here to get it right the first and last time. Clarity and truth is coming.

Tim,
I have been holding back on taking any action towards you because of my personal knowledge (via our now lost friendship) of how your life has been.
You should be used to 'holding back'; you've held back the monies you've owed for 3 years now. Or did you forget that's what this all stems from? See, when all the legal crap you're flinging about like a rabid monkey in a tiny little zoo finally gets cleared away, that's what it all boils down to. The rest is poo-flavored icing on your poo-flavored cake. It's all a distraction. Watch Judge Judy sometime; you'll see how judges just love getting to the heart of the matter, even when a barrier of countersuit upon countersuit is heaped up for protection.
And the 'lost friendship' was, again, a consequence of your actions. Next time you might wanna check with your remaining friends and see if they don't mind having their names dragged into your personal battles.
You feel you have a civil case. If I remember correctly, you did claim I was making up everything about going back to court with my ex. Does that count against you? That was a boldfaced lie; I have the papers right next to me to prove otherwise. Gimme the word and I'll scan 'em in.
So now I'm being 'evaluated legally'? Why, because I spoke out against you telling everyone you owe me money? Oops, my bad. 'Cept, I never signed anything that prevented me from doing otherwise. Which means you just threatened me legally. Remember that, Olney.
'Course, you could claim that I called you names or revealed your 'secrets'. But then, this is a free country. We're partaking in open discourse (that'd be 'speaking openly', in case you gotta look that up).
And we know all about following legal procedure, Moby; don't waste your meager typing skills refreshing our attorney's memory. Remember him, the one you insulted pages and pages ago? Makes yet another 'civil suit' according to your own words.
As for taking necessary steps, you did assure me time and time (and time and time) again you were gonna pay me. I was stupid enough to believe those were the only steps I needed to take. Exactly how long were planning on fobbing me -- and Danny and Sarah and so many others -- off? As you just said, you know what I've been through. Funny how it didn't matter when you put off making reasonable arrangements, but now you make it sound like you've been doing me a favor.
I'm not answering your questions. I only know that your many, many emails to me along with what you told others ... does not equal how you claim to be 'damaged' as a person.
Just answer this one:
What the hell does the above mean? For the life of me, I cannot figure that out. Are you implying that I've been lying about my situation? Cuz if you are . . . can you say 'civil statutes'?

I'm awaiting the check and expect to be sending you the reimbursement within the next week. Again, I'm sorry for the hold up. I had initially thought that it would be as quick as 7-10 days, but ended up needing to be a few more weeks. The release checks are generated and released in the mail on a cycle. But without forcing a smile from you, I'll have it in the mail to you shortly. Promise. I sure hope my needing the extra time hasn't soured you both to coming back next year. The Syracuse upgrade is going to complete the template for our convention success next year. We'll be advertising more, like in Wizard, and accommodations will be paid up front so as not to leave anyone like yourself waiting for reimbursement. Additionally, we'll be giving each upper echelon guest a $100 dollar bill to cover meals not covered by the convention during the weekend. Gail, I'll email you the moment after the check goes in the mail.
Sorry to hear about your Mom being in the hospital. I hope it is nothing too serious. My thoughts of her feeling better soon are with you and Scott.

Rick,
I wasn't asking for Mike's email to grouse. He's my favorite all-time artist and I promised to keep in touch. I have no intention of complaining to him, or to anyone else, at this time.
I understand turn-out wasn't as expected, and I have been and will continue to be patient as long as we keep in contact. But when others cancelled, I kept my word and attended, paying for my own ticket when told by others that that was an unwise practice, because I had faith in your word, and you gave assurances of prompt reimbursement.
While it is unfortunate the event was not better attended, It is also unfair for you to put this financial burden on people who did their best for you, and it's unfortunate that you've missed two self-imposed deadlines already. Surely you can understand my concern, particularly at this time. If someone had said, "we'll pay you as agreed, assuming attendence is good," that would have been a different matter. Believe me, I don't find this any more pleasant than you do.
Once the matter is cleared up, the whole thing will be forgotten completely.

Thanks, Gail!
I promise that next May's convention won't be much like this last one regarding reimbursement. In fact, there will be no reimbursement...everything regarding air travel will paid up front. I only did it this way the first time because I was told by people to be wary of industry people that take the money and then you never hear or see them. Additionally, each upper echelon invited guest (of which you fall into that category) will get $100 dollars for food or spending as their meals accommodation. There will still be a breakfast on Saturday, and a buffet Saturday night between the closing of the show floor and the start of the formal auction. Those are a few of the changes in place.
Did you say that Scott's airfare was approx the same as yours? I'm just curious.
Thanks again for your patience. I PROMISE you it will be worth the wait.

Gail,
To be further honest... I've been excused from three comics related

conflicts. I never said I was perfect. I wear my heart on my sleeve and
I
talk to much. I also place faith in people and get let down on a time
or
two.
Yes, I will do as I told you over the telephone and a little more.
Because
that is just how I am.
So I hope we can salvage our interaction. Your statements in previous
emails regarding your concern that other industry types would be put
through any of this was very unsettling, to say the least. I'm not
'feuding' with you. Least ways... it doesn't feel like feuding to me.
There were three people that cancelled on me from my memory. Evan and
Sarah, the guy from Texas that is famous for his American take on
manga. He
wanted me to pay for his wife after the fact. Can't recall his name
though.
And... several people kept me waiting for an answer. Anyway, I hope
upon my
conclusion of this all you'll be able to not think ill of me.
You said, "As I said, if I'd listened to the people who warned
me, I would have saved myself a great deal of
frustration, disappointment and money. I'm not
judging you by what they said, purely by your own
actions. "
I will restore your faith. Hopefully that will erase your frustration
and
disappointment.
I just want to be fully 110% clear on your money spent, okay? I want NO
grey areas where you feel the slightest bit 'out-of-pocket' on any of
this
regarding Mighty Mini-Con. Believe me, it won't be hard determining if
someone/anyone is trying to shed a negative light on the MMC once I get
into the final stages of guest planning for 2004. I just want to be

Hi,
Just thought you'd appreciate an email letting you know that everything is on track. I'll be mailing out a reimbursement of $400 dollars week ending. Now, I realize that your costs alone were a tad more, so I'll be forwarding you the balance in two weeks approx.
I hope that is okay? Sorry for all the hoopla and hold up. I'll launch you another email when it is in the mailbox headed your way.

Regards,

How do we know it is "formal" now?
You're being formally investigated when the PI wears a tux.
When someone's just making up imaginary laws about how if his retorts are insulting but ineffective and he removes them, and it's unfair for him to be criticized and not everyone else too, so that's grounds for a lawsuit, that's "casual Friday" investigation.

As folks might have noticed, I don't respond to Olney here. When I post here, I post factual information and express opinions based on that information. I see no point in responding to him here because his lies are so obvious and his claims and opinions so obviously misinformed that there's no reason for me to respond. His own words reveal him for what he is. I don't need to add anything.
When he sends me threatening e-mails, like the one I have already reposted in several venues, I'll do exactly what I have said I will do: post them, direct folks to the Unscrewed website, and remind them that I have given blanket approval for them to repost my original warning about Olney.
My goal is to spread the word about him as much as possible and, as much as possible, prevent the unaware from suffering loss of time/money as a result of doing business with him on any level.

Okay, I was at an Oscar party at friends' yesterday (you know, part of my "real life", in the field where I actually get my regular paycheck - the entertainment business - with people who likewise work in that arena, with real credits), so I missed this resurfacing at the time (I'm still back at post #13744).
And really, I thought he had acquired better sense. But this reappearance does explain why the number of pages I have yet to read is so high. Heh.
I'm sure I have bunches of fun things to look forward to. I know this is way behind the wave, but I thought I'd say my reaction was similar to Typo's. I did not really expect the peanut to return here.

Tony
I was removed from your forum over a remark about the poor French "frying" in that heat that held France helpless a few years back. You then insulted my Veteran status. But that has also taken place here, so birds of a feather still flock together. Your liberal views are disgusting.
There were no other problems, liar.
Yeah, riiiiight...

Her popularity is not as 'solid' as you (and she) might believe. But I'm not at liberty to say anything else. I just hope she's had advice of legal counsel regarding her personal attacks towards me directly that, again, go outside the rights and legal definition of personal opinion.
Soooo.... somehow the fact that you imply that you're going to sue her will automatically make her less popular? Dude, she sells books WELL for one of the big companies. They're not going to care about what you do. You're not that impressive.
Fine. Whatever. Given how much you speculate about other people's associations, I don't see why you're so would up when others take pieces of evidence, and make some conclusions based on that. If the information is incomplete, no big deal, Mr. Huffy. It's not actionable. Sorry to disappoint you on that.
And, unlike the bunch of you... I don't judge outside of proper context. Likewise with the harrassment emails sent to members of my family and the online hack attempts. There is no rush here to get it right the first and last time. Clarity and truth is coming.
Okay, now that's a real laugh! You do nothing BUT "judge outside of proper context"!!! Heh. As for "harrassment emails".... I know nothing of those. And certainly given the way you misrepresent things, I doubt all of them are necessarily as you characterize them. Me, I see no reason to bother any of your family for the most part. Make some inquiries of your former business partner - that is, your wife - yes, perhaps. But I don't see that that would necessarily be harrassing, rather just the consequence of your actions.

When my ex showed up mere blocks from our neighborhood last year after we had been granted the Order of Protection, I was patrolling the house with a baseball bat, informing the Things' school, warning the bus company and their drivers . . . I don't think I slept for 3 days, parked on the couch with my Louisville Slugger.
Besides which, is that something you'd brag about in public if the authorities were actively seeking out the alleged parties? Wouldn't that kinda ruin their chances of catching the alleged perpetrator?

I don't get these alleged 'threats'; he sure as feck didn't act like anyone being 'threatened' last week. He was posting like a keyboard possessed Thursday and Friday on Jim Main's group, managed to get the 'word out' about TLE not being dissolved, brag about the lack of guests for this year's inevitable cancellation of the MMC, then watch cartoons Saturday morning (according to his posted words, which I do have saved).

Sometimes, just catching up is not enough. I expect others will have commented on this, but still.....
Nat,
I don't doubt that. But the mean spirited social agenda isn't going to gain him any new 'fans' ... no more than it will give his life what he seems to show is lacking. "Fandom" has changed greatly since Tony got his recognition.
Personally, I know Tony and I don't like each other. But I doidn't bring his name up in my discussions and conversations until he thought by talking about me ... it would make him a bigger person.
Fandom (and why the quote marks on that?) hasn't changed all that much (in any arena). It's only increased its communication abilities. And apparently, Tony's posting of information about RO actually has gotten him "fans" of a sort, since he said he's gotten email from folks thanking him for the warning. (And really, I see no reason to doubt Tony's word.)
I've got pics of him and his son back in 2003 attending the MMC. We were happy to have them here that day. I can and will be able to disprove any negative comment about that 2003 event with fact. Pictures also say a thousand words. So Tony is free to run his mouth for as long as he's foolish enough.
This poor mentally deficient resident of Herkimer does not seem to grasp that pictures do NOT tell the whole story of one's experience of ANYTHING. It is entirely possible that a person (such as Tony, who was with his son) might be capable of finding something to amuse himself under any circumstance. Even a badly run convention. A picture of someone smiling does not mean that the convention at which that picture was taken was well run or successful. It just means the person was smiling at the time the picture was taken. Duh.
Now, as to addressing TLE's production efforts -- We're still in business and still planning on having a representation set for June. I never approached this publishing endeavor as wanting to be a "Tony Isabella" ... so much as I merely needed to take a shot at my self publishing goal. I don't stand on the shoulders of other people where my writing is concerned. Several here believe it to be juvenile crap. We live in a free world. Please don't buy anything I've written or plan to print, market, and release. Thank you.
"Having a representation set for June"??? What the heck does that mean? Is it supposed to mean anything to anyone? Does he mean his "convention" (which has not set venue yet, and is now probably too late for anyone to want to change their already-established plans in order to attend)?
And... gosh. Asking people not to buy one's work? That's a really great sales technique there, dude. NOT.
Heh.

Tony, I will be reposting your warning on all of my sites as well as the next installment of WAGW going up this evening.
"Mr. Olney" ( I use the quotations because he is masquerading as a man and clearly is not ) has lit a fire under me with his pompous bullshit and the same "woe is me" that I once fell for.
Not one word about those he screwed so badly, only attacking those so vocal here for trying to stand up for the people like me who he hosed so callously. Brad might not be interested in the story but I vow that I will find someone who IS and go all the way with it.
Because of Olney my family suffered, not to mention the fighting that was going on in my marriage directly related to me working for Olney AND his lack of payment. Did it contribute to the divorce? Who knows... point is I got more grief than I am already dealing with because of this heartless and selfish man.
He has called me a "stupid bitch" and threatened me with items of a personal nature, but I have no fear, just as he seems to have no soul.
"And it harms none, so mote it be" But you, "Mr. Olney" have harmed many.

Tony
And I just got the below from a person that has been following this insane thread:
Rick,
Yeah, I kinda think some of those posting are kids with way too much time on their hands. I think the operative word here is "Absurd". When dealing with talented, artistic people, it is necessary to remember that some of them have egos bigger than their talent. While this is all likely stating the obvious...
Olney's bluffing. I wouldn't worry about any of it; the more he threatens, the less you need to take him seriously.
He uses over-wordy sentences to try to make his speech sound more formal (doesn't work, his english is bad), he has a solidly-established track record of lying (can't deliver on promises) and making empty threats (can't back it up), and his style of humor is to belittle people (tries to make himself feel better by putting others, especially apparently the disadvantaged, down).
He betrays his insecurity with every word. Every single word, every sentence, every post. Seriously.
You're not going to get apologies or humility out of a pathological liar. Just more of the same, until they themselves choose to take responsibility.
But he can't. So he's going to spew rhetoric because, in his mind, this is how you fight -- and win -- the fight.
Why?
He's probably never been made to own up for his wrongs. Until he truly has to face serious consequences, he won't stop.
So I wouldn't worry about it. He's all bluster.
The best gamblers know that you have to sometimes produce real results after bluffing a few times, Olney, otherwise, people wise up to your game. Haven't you ever played poker?
And you can't make people back off by insulting their talent or their egos. If they're good, they'll stay in the game.

You have much to learn. Please continue to express yourself...as it will aid you in growing as an individual.
Perhaps you should take said advice yourself. Continue expressing yourself. It helps us greatly when it comes to burying you in legal actions.

I don't get it; not only did he name the disease wrong, the disease is only harmful to vineyards. Is he calling you an 'infected vineyard', Peeg?
Actually, I think he may meant Botryotinia fuckeliana, which is the sexual form of the normally asexual fungus.

By the way, Kurt, I'm gonna have "Time Warp" stuck in my head for the rest of the day now. Thanks a lot. :PI used to have that problem a lot, with songs getting stuck in my brain. I worked out a process to fight it.
First, start thinking of other songs -- not the songs themselves, just start naming the titles.
Bend at the waist.
Take deep breaths for about half a minute (slow and smooth, don't hyperventilate!)
Straighten up.
Put your hands on your hips.
Pull your knees in tight.
It's the pelvic thrust, that really drives you insa-a-a-a-ane...
You're welcome.

Uhhh...Rick dude....did you forget that you sorta did say she did work for you. They copied your responses earlier to Ronee. If she chooses to go ahead she can use your statements that you claim you owe her money for work.
That was thousands of posts ago. But they copied and saved what you have posted earlier. They have already stated that numerous times. Trying to swerve her now won't help once they pull up statements you posted saying she worked for you and the company.

But that doesn't fly. I've seen a lot of people on TV sue in Civil court. You can't just say that since she started telling everyone that you owe her money , makes her invisible now to you. A judge would laugh your ass outta court and if it was Judge Judy she'd odds are call you some funny names.
In fact a case weeks ago on Judge Joe Brown mirrors yours somewhat. A guy let his poker pal borrow 2 grand to sponser him in a tournament. Well the guy lost but was supposed to repay his pal the money but as a year passed , his friend started telling everyone about it.
He told them his pal wasn't paying him a dime he owed and the poker guy thought that he was being defamed . The judge asked him this...
Judge: " Do you owe him $ 2,000 thousand dollars ? "
Poker Guy : ( Takes awhile ) " Yes...but I was gonna - "
Judge : " Its been a year , you owe that money to him. If you hadn't even made arrangements to pay him back or anything you haven't been defamed , sir. You admit you used money from him to be sponsered in a Poker Tournament. Him telling others isn't wrong if you owe the invidual. "

You're not legally owed a dime.Except that you have specifically stated in this thread that she is owed money. No contract without an NDA.That's a fine little thing to say, except plenty of contracts exist without NDAs.You failed to return either before playing the act of being a victim. And you used her services without that paperwork, and thus owe her for it.
You have children to care for. I doubt that you'd hold up to anyone looking into your background. Be forewarned...blackmail is a crime. You may want to consider that last statement carefully; your statement suggests strongly that you would try to reveal background information about her if she doesn't waive the debt you owe her. It sure sounds like a form of extortion.

Rick,
Yeah, I kinda think some of those posting are kids with way too much time on their hands. I think the operative word here is "Absurd". When dealing with talented, artistic people, it is necessary to remember that some of them have egos bigger than their talent. I have found that big egos usually mean insecure people trying to outwit their own insecurity.
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
Edmund Burke
Aw, look: Moby's got a secret penpal. Does this person realize the insanity has been brought about by you and your unwillingness to pay for work you contracted?
Oh, and 'Absurd' was capitalized! Not only does that mean I was noticed, that also indicates it's someone who's familiar with me.
And, Swifty, next time you wanna be so clever as to give veracity to your incredibly long list of 'friends', you might wanna leave off the quote from their signatures. Dead giveaway.
