Someone needs to auction off a "Olney Omnibus" that includes all his snipes, jabs, two-steps and blatant use of threat quotes from 90's B-list stars.
But, really, where's this blog he's speaking of? I'd like to read it and maybe cut-n-paste.
Here it is:

I say again, he could STILL salvage something if he were to simply quit pretending this is all some elaborate legal dodge and make a real payment plan that STARTS WITH THE FIRST PAYMENT to the many, many people he's cheated, and an apology.
So much of this ill will against him would go away.
But the truth is, he doesn't have the money to pay and never did, and all this threatening stuff is just what he always does when the truth comes out. It's never Rick's fault, no matter how poorly planned, under-funded, or horribly executed his projects are.

Olney's worse, bed-wetting nightmare is that all the lies he's told will be uncovered and eventually he'll have to stand before someone he can't lie to or brush off.
Judges are awesome for this very reason.

Ronee, I'm not discussing your situation or ANY of the specific talent under work-for-hire with me here. Your credibility is just as shot with me as you claim to dislike, distrust and abhor me. Fine. Just re-read your emails of yesterday, because that is that last I'll be communicating with you. You'll be dealt with fairly. But I'm not handling it.
Hi, Rick!
You really are just too goddamned preoccupied with amending your reality every day to be able to live with yourself, to have any energy left over to write out checks, sign them and mail them to the people you owe money to, aren't you? Why the fuck do you think you've reached this impasse? Are you stupid or delusional enough to believe that these people don't feel honestly wronged by you--A LOT OF PEOPLE? This is righteous indignation, and it is indeed righteous. We're here to make sure you will fuck no one, or interfere with their careers, ever again, you bigoted, cheapskate Carpetbagger. Send these folks that you owe money to some fucking checks--it'll work wonders for your credibility and reputation.

In my case, that means I hold true to my promise: I will stock no product that has Rick Olney involved in it until I hear from every creator I know of telling me (or a reputable source) "Mr. Olney has paid me."
Whether or not he's actually got the funds to do this at this point is irrelevant: he has promised to pay these various people for the work they've done. Now, then or later, these people need to see their earned funds from Mr. Olney.

GailWheezy is a member of the Sci-Fi show GHOSTHUNTERS and as far as I know he was to make money on the back end sale of the book. OTHER team members were enlisted to be at this years cacelled MMC and contracted to have half payment before the show and after they signed this Rick had ME contact them and offer an ammended contract saying that they would instead get the monies upon check in at the hotel he never booked anyone at. I know currently at least ONE member has still been promised pay as she took the days off work to attend the show that never happened.

Her credibility is shot with me for obvious reasons, Nat. Whether she lies or not as a day-to-day happenstance remains to be seen.
There's something to be said about a message that turns itself into a lie...
Would not "fairly" have involved paying her in a timely fashion?
Well, for those that have been paying attention -- Ronee is now waiting for contact from (my imaginary) lawyer (don't want to ruin the drama for anyone here) so that he can provide her with the option of getting paid after signing a release/hold harmless document. Without a viable contract, her only other course of action is to sue and be able to prove that she did whatever work she feels the need to be compensated for. Our records show that she is rightfully due $800 dollars. We've tried to open dialogue with her three times with no luck. My attorney (imaginary and all) has the emails, and is well aware of the role that Ronee played from June until December. 'Course, she claims to have resigned a job that she never accepted under the proper and legal confines of our understanding. So who knows how it'll go.
You've talked about how people will be hearing from you or your lawyer "in due time" -- hasn't "due time" already passed?
Well, I can't speak for my (imaginary) attorney. All I can tell you is that everything is being made note of, and either the civil actions on the matter of broken NDA's or the actions against those fitting the legal template for other infractions should be underway soon. For sure, this forum and website will never give a fair chance to anyone that has made mistakes and is trying to correct them. And certainly, nobody on my side of the fence is going to play out any more drama here.

Believe me, that's one that I was glad to do. As a Schulz fan, even getting to see this lost Schulz work myself was a happy thing. As someone with an enthusiasm for the comics scene, it was an honor to bring this work to others.
And as a publisher, it was a pleasure to generate both recognition and checks for Jim Sasseville. What I said before is true, paying creators is one of the joys of the job... and in this case, the money went to a man who was in the closing act of life, whose body was failing him and who had other problems besetting him as well. Improving the lives of comics creators -- even if it's only in small ways, and even if it's just one at a time -- is something more should strive for.
(And I suspect you'll be thanking me again in May.)

Oh, nobody's gonna worry about Mr. Tucci! Even if the bizarre, and improbable possibility exists that he ignores sensible advice from respected creators (not me--you helped see to that) and agrees to do work for you, I'm fairly certain he'll be counciled to:
A. Get the money up front and the check cashed before putting a single line to paper, and
B. Have a hearty laugh over your useless NDA, that you use to menace unsuspecting independent contractors when they desire payment for work they've done, and mail it back, signed John Hancock.
you're not fooling anybody but yourself.
Is this all gibberish to you? Are you that deluded?
You've wronged people. You're not going to be able to do that anymore.
Apologize, and pay everybody the money you owe them, and you likely won't be seen as the worst douchebag in Small and Indy Comics history, from now on. Why do you think they got so pissed off as to so-called 'violate' that monument to your paranoia, that pointless NDA, in the first place? Good luck in front of a judge.

See... the part that you're missing in all this is, I'm not on trial here before you people. You think you have a vested interest...but you don't. All a few of you do have are personal problems of your own. And, while I'm really not about making anyone's life harder or more difficult ... the few that have semi-legitiamte claims with me get swallowed up by the shite spinning, trolls blather, and dull pissing and moaning here.
When the time is proper, people will step forward to correct themselves. Myself included. I suspect that many here think what has taken place here is justified. I present to you that it is not. Doubt I'll do it? Ask Dennis Kininger, "Gail" ... it could happen.

Your sock puppets do not count as people.
But I don't think Gail will mind me saying that if there are other people willing to support you, then please invite them over. As long as they are honest we will treat them with respect. And remember nobody gets banned from here.
I don't have or use any "sockpuppets" orther than my orcafresh screen name, Mr. Johnson.
See... the part that you're missing in all this is, I'm not on trial here before you people.
I see it as a tarbaby that each of you touched and can't wash off. "Gail's" remarks about me having body odor are cute and childish. So much so, that I may just pay for someone that REALLY has a hygene problem to attend the next convention east of Chicago that she guests at ... just to give her a taste of reality. Doubt I'll do it? Ask Dennis Kininger, "Gail" ... it could happen.
This "peanut" stuff. It kind of turns me on in an innocent way. See... having a former connection to a major insurance company once known for using Snoopy of Peanuts fame only brings me fond memories. So, thank you, Sarah.

The thing it has in stark contrast to his dippy legal threats is that it's actually true. Rick will, indeed, die. Won't have anything to do with me snapping my fingers, mind you, but one will follow the other...eventually.

Her credibility is shot with me for obvious reasons, Nat.You claim the reasons are "obvious", but last time you explained them it boiled down to the fact that she doesn't like you. Sorry, I don't see someone not liking you as a reason for them not having credibility.
Our records show that she is rightfully due $800 dollars.Okay, let's see what just happened here. You just admitted that she is RIGHTFULLY DUE that money... and yet you're only giving her the "option" to get paid IF she jumps through additional hoops you set up. Apparently, someone being "rightfully due" money from you is not enough to actually pay them. We've tried to open dialogue with her three times with no luck.Well, first off, since you did some of your dance in public, we've seen what you consider "no luck", Rick. She accedes all to readily to your requests, merely asking for information on your lawyer to continue -- and you act as if that's some violation and an excuse for you to yank away the offer.
Secondly, she is not in any way that I can see obligated to have a dialogue with you. You yourself described a debt to her as being "rightfully due"; the obligation is then yours to pay her that money.
All I can tell you is that everything is being made note of, and either the civil actions on the matter of broken NDA's or the actions against those fitting the legal template for other infractions should be underway soon.Having seen the promises of violence you've posted that never came to pass, having seen your promotion for conventions that never came to pass, I really can't put any faith in your claims that your civil actions will come to pass.
For sure, this forum and website will never give a fair chance to anyone that has made mistakes and is trying to correct them.Funny, you show little sign of trying to correct any of these mistakes, Rick. Looking at this message, you're talking about how you're planning to sue people, and how you're withholding rightfully due monies in order to get someone to sign something to your advantage - and this message isn't at all out of tone with your other posts here. These aren't corrections of mistakes, these are further transgressions.

There is a team led by a brilliant, tall, dead-sexy man named Matt Mart....I mean, Magnus Grimcore.
He gets Godzilla, King Kong, and Mothra (for air support) to help him fight crime. By day, he is a suave, but misunderstood publisher in a small town. But by night, they are TALES OF THE SCHLOCKY!
Gail Simone

Anyone else find this threatening?
Gail, you should make sure to have someone (like your husband) around if this nutbar shows up on the convention circuit. And/or possibly convention security to intervene.
He's as scary as a dead taco.
But what can I say? The guy thinks he has 'fans.'
The word 'deluded' doesn't cover it.
He's all mouth, I'm not the least bit concerned and never have been.

Well, the only conventions he will go to this year are the ones his Van of Justice can make it to.
So nothing TO be worried of. The only "surprise" I will get is if he actually does show up. With his "posse".

What I'm saying is that "Gail Simone" is a nobody. She is a simple pen name on a bunch of stories. Doesn't mean that I don't think she's talented, obviously. But "Gail Simone" is not married. I doubt that "Gail Simone" pays taxes either. Does her son's school teacher's know and address her as "Gail Simone"? I doubt it.

You claim the reasons are "obvious", but last time you explained them it boiled down to the fact that she doesn't like you. Sorry, I don't see someone not liking you as a reason for them not having credibility.
Okay, let's see what just happened here. You just admitted that she is RIGHTFULLY DUE that money... and yet you're only giving her the "option" to get paid IF she jumps through additional hoops you set up. Apparently, someone being "rightfully due" money from you is not enough to actually pay them.Well, first off, since you did some of your dance in public, we've seen what you consider "no luck", Rick.
Having seen the promises of violence you've posted that never came to pass, having seen your promotion for conventions that never came to pass, I really can't put any faith in your claims that your civil actions will come to pass.
Funny, you show little sign of trying to correct any of these mistakes, Rick. Looking at this message, you're talking about how you're planning to sue people, and how you're withholding rightfully due monies in order to get someone to sign something to your advantage - and this message isn't at all out of tone with your other posts here. These aren't corrections of mistakes, these are further transgressions.Matt save this post please, witness of my willing to accept Ricks "offer" will come in handy.
Others saw it too... hell its imortalized here!! Why he continues to lie so boldly in the face of people who know better is astounding!

Wonder what we posted recently that made him pee his pants like this?
Gail
While I may certainly be a card-carrying megalomaniac, go back and check my posts--I'm speaking 'Retardese', breaking everything down to 'brass tacks' minimalism, and I'm just itching for a head-on confrontation. It would be great if he did an 'Ad Hominem' attack, like he's done with you--bringing up disinformational minutiae to deflect his obvious culpability, and from answering any pertinent questions about the way he treats creators. I'd LOVE for him to say I'm unimportant, it's none of my business, or 'who the fuck do you think you are'--his predictable tactics, followed by ill-informed, naive, blustering threats. It's all a game to him, and he's not bright enough to realize he isn't very good at it. Maybe he's waiting for someone to slip up, and issue a terroristic threat, to add a real procecutable offense, for his imaginary lawyer.
I also speak Neuro-Linguistic Programming, which he's intermediary at, at best. Add that to the sheer volume of malice we have here, and he's on the run.
Again, all he would have to do, likely, is apologize, and pay the creators he knows he owes, for this to become a non-event. He won't rip anyone off ever again, in any case. For any of us to sue him, the best he could do is a counterclaim with his pitifully tiny, limp NDA. I never signed it, refusing to grant him publication rights to the one thing he wanted by me--and ONE THREAT TOWARDS ME EVER AGAIN--I would have a dozen people who know the lowdown of his involvement in my 'loss of profession' sign sworn affidavits.

Whew! Finally caught up! This is what I get for taking care of car maintainence and having a business meeting on a day off, consequently being offline for most of the day! Stuff happens!
And after reading through 20 some pages after his threat directed at me, do I find anything about what he's mad at me about now? Nope? Although he does tell me that he links "peanut" to Snoppy & Met Life & the Schultz strip, so it gives him warm, fuzzy feelings.
You know what? Even though it's seriously deluded, it is sort of nice that he can feel "warm & fuzzy" about something.
Even though the reference here has nothing to do with witty, funny beagles.
So, peanut-brain, do tell me, what is this latest offense that you're threatening me about? Is it the Unscrewed! Chronology I've been compiling? 'Cause, you know, I don't have to do anything but plug stuff into a time line. I'm not making up stuff. Just copying from various posts (or emailed information), many of which YOU wrote & posted. peanut. Particularly the stuff from the CBC board.
If that's what's bugging you today, I just find it sooooooo interesting. You don't want people to pay attention to that?
And Gail.... I think the thing he wanted to push way down the board was the copy of his blog - you know, where he sniped at the young actor for speaking up, calling him "person" condescendingly, and snitting about his "internet life". Because since he called Michael, and Michael retracted his very mild comments, he doesn't want anyone remembering what HE said about Michael. Pfft.
Now, see.... he spends his day spreading this kind of garbage. I spent my day laying plans for publishing a non-fiction book, and strategizing how to publicize it, and sell it. Which reminds me, I need to go send an email to my friend (and he really is, peanut) Steve Lieber, about commissioning something from him for that project.
