Escapi Music will release the live Metal Church DVD on February 23rd. The DVD is of a performance from the band's tour supporting their album The Human Factor from 1991. It was shot at the Dynamo Open Air Festival in Eindoven Holland.

I know Anthrax has been living life like it was the mid-80s, but damn, releasing a live CD that was taped in 1987? That's really pushing it, dudes.

I dug the Jon Oliva and Al Pitrelli interviews. Reading between the lines, it looked to me like Oliva doesn't really care for TSO. I am pumped that they're doing another non-Christmas CD, though.

Can't wait for those Helloween discs. I wish they would have toured the US.

Didn't Static-X break up a couple years ago?

Best part of that Dave Mustaine piece was the disclaimer at the end warning people about inflamatory comments.

Finally, whoever did that Twisted Sister review needs to do his homework next time. He says, "'O Come All Ye Faithful' sounds just like 'We’re Not Gonna Take It;' from the main riff to the note-for-note solo."

Well, it should; the music is the same. The music for the entire album is old songs with Christmas-themed lyrics added.

Stemming from the Paul Raven interview, it sucks that Ministry will only make one more album. Cool that it could potentially be a double album, but still, music seems less fun when Al Jourgensen isn't recording an album.

Well I haven't really heard any of the albums since they haven't come out yet and most don't have any audio samples online.

However, I do want (and hope) to check out the albums from Dark Moor, Night Ranger, Domine, Glenn Hughes, Whitesnake, Black Sabbath (compilation), Dokken, Last Autumn's Dream, Visions of Atlantis, Danny Vaughn and Pride Of Lions. As well as the Helloween DVD. However, a lot of those are probably more melodic rock and hard rock than you l like. But Dark Moor and Visions Of Atlantis are on the list, so I'd go after those.
