Hi guys,

I thought I'd start a new A.T. since my last one was poorly done.

The following drawings I just did on Paint...yes, the computer program PAINT.
Then I move'em to Phtsp where, I if I'm not too lazy, I try to make them look less like a five year old's work.

This close-up of a drawing i did is my favorite paint/photoshop piece.

Still took me almost two hours.

Wow! Great masterpiece! You do it in 2 hours? If I had drawn it I would have ended it in two years!

Did this one in 1min. The goal was not to let go of the mouse once.

Here are two others...

As you can see, all I can do is "portraits" without backgrounds....*sigh*

Wow!! These are some cool very creapy pieces! What i find the strangest is that the thing that bothers me the most (in a creapy-bothering way not a bad-art-bothering way, as all these things are really nice) is not the grey palete collors, but the eyes of the characters(with a little hint of madness in'em). Was that intentional?

I'm without words, really. I desire to draw as you! The expressions that your charaters have are so emotional and true.

Wish I could come up with outrageous stuff like that. Mainly, I just go by pictures. Love the art!

Have you seen the art of Darick Robertson? Your character studies
remind me of his work on "Transmetropolitan". Luv the Kate and MM.

Wow! Love the one min. sketch and the various head sketches. Your rendering of eyes is stylistic, but authentic and emotive and yes maybe a little mad looking, but i like it. They draw the looker to them and connect and thats a good thing.

now I can't stop saying looker in my head and its losing it's meaning. looker. looker. is that even a wird?

Remember, people could make a living and become famous doing "just portraits". Probably still could.

Do you still have a copy?

absenter, thank you. I make up my own words all the time by the way. :p

I shall now check out those links...please excuse me.

All the best

Glad ya changed yer mind. This forum reminds me of that quote from

I really was planning on going west for work this winter...however, things didn't quite work out the way I planned, so then I was lurking for a few days and thought...MUST WRITE SOMETHING SILLY AND INSIGNIFICANT.

In the tradition of on of my favorite artist, Max Ernst, I gave surrealist collage a try. I'm quite happy with the results.
The man with the child are from a book on eating and the raven head is from a book on animals.

The new sketch is pretty slick. Great job on her face, the expression's pretty sweet.

I dig the surrealist collage, it reminds me of Married to the Sea (great webcomic).

I really like this one (http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l159/6are54/Untitled-1.jpg) a lot. Cool design and cool shapes in that one.

Thank you. I wish I had a more stylistic approach to drawing characters...but I'm still a beginner. So I just have to work at the basic stuff. I still haven't really discovered my own style...well I mean, I have my own touch, like any artist...but nothing really unique like Mignola, Miller or... you ;)
