View Full Version : Weaknesses in Iron Man's post-Extremis armor?

I'm not an avid IM reader, so I was wondering what weaknesses Tony's armor might have (if any) after the Extremis upgrade. Can IM be shut down by EM pulses? Or has Tony already designed precautions against this?
If EM pulses are indeed Im's "Achilles heel", who thinks this might be used against him in Civil War?
Thanks in advance folks!
Obviously Iron Man's new abilities haven't been touched upon in Civil War. Now the wait is on to see how much more Marvel dismisses this new direction for Iron Man in the final two issues and then if they boot him out of the armor.... again. Which would suck even more becuase they just put him in a new direction with Extremis and now suddenly the possibility of this Shield thing as well as replacing him (which all I can say to that is I hope it doesn't happen). Did I rant? Sorry...
We haven't even seen EIM in real action in Civil War yet and there's only two issues left, let alone ascertain his weaknesses.

He's been hit with EMPs of various types since getting the Extremis. They appear to knock him out of commission for a few seconds.
And in fact, an EMP device has already been used against him, in Civil War #3 by Captain America. He quickly rebooted and then beat the snot out of Cap.

Oh is that what that was? I didn't realize.
Kewl, thanks for the info.
