I've sent some pm's on this subject, but decided I may as well ask everyone.
My question is, what is the paper size that you use for your sequential art?
I've been working on my own comic project for some time now, But I keep getting worried about how to get my art into book form!
I've been working fairly large, larger ( a little larger than 11x17). Do I have to work 11x17?
I'm basically going to print these off myself, I just don't know how to go about it, and I don't want to continue if I'm doing this the wrong way.

Standard comic art is on 11 x 17 paper, with a 10 x 15 live area. As long as the art is a multiple of 2 x 3, it doesn't really matter. It's more a matter of how much detail you want in there.

Clay said it best. Although in these days of scanning, I have found it very freeing to work at whatever size and layout is comfortable or handy at the time (from the better half of a 11X17 at home or a 6X9 sketchbook when I'm on the go) and scan/arrange the pictures in a computer compilation. I liken it to film, where I draw the entire location, and later "frame" the "shot."

Lately, I've been doing stuff that's essentially half of a page at a time. It's a better dimension for webcomics, and I just join two of them at a time in Photoshop when it's time to print 'em. The biggest bonuses are that it's so much easier to take 8.5" x 11" pages with me, I'm not necessarily chained to my drawing table anymore, and that the pages fit on my dinky little scanner without having to find a copier to reduce down the artwork first.

Okay, so I just finished a page that has a live area of 11x17. My paper was like, 12x19/12, and I screwed up and didn't fit my art into the 10x15 space.
Am I boned once printing rolls around? If so, I need to rework the page before I move on.

You're not boned, but you've got a couple of options. The dimensions aren't that far off, so depending on the printing method, you can go full-bleed with it (in which case you have to make sure not to put anything important like dialogue near the edges of the page). Or you can shrink it so that the entire thing fits on the printed page. It's your call, but do the entire story at the same size. It'll look goofy if each page is a slightly different size.
One thing, once you get above 11x17, it gets harder to find a way to reduce or scan your art. There are ways to do it, but it's harder than just finding a photocopier.

Well, that was one of the maion things I was worried about. I think I will be better off editing the art to fit 10x15.
Thanks a lot for your input.
