I think it looks like an interesting run here, seems like it's Xavier that bites the dust and not Aunt May...

I finally get a fix of Ultimate Power. Ultimate Spider-Man actually looks like its gunning for a really interesting arc, and here's hoping that student ends up being Cloak...

Anyway, what do you think?

I'm most looking foward to Ultimate spidey as always and poor Xavior does seem like he bites the dust. Beast will be happy seeing the cover as it seems Wolverine is leaving the X-team and Kirkman actually is gonna make a great X-run. Who knows. Ult FF as always is cheery FF fun.

I think it's pretty clearly meant as a reference to "Jessica."

I thought that as well. I'm most interested in the USM "Ultimate Knights" arc, always nice to see Daredevil and Moon Knight and that's the kind of stories Bendis writes the best. Wonder who the rest of the team are. Hopefully it's Iron Fist, and maybe the Black Cat as well. I find Shang Chi boring as hell so I hope he's not in, but since he was involved in the "Warriors" arc there's that possibility... I don't think Daredevil would dare recruit the Punisher.
Anyway, I just hope Peter stays with Kitty Pryde.

Looks like Ultimate X-Men is finally getting sort of interesting again, too bad it's at the cost of another unnecessary premature death... Well, at least it wasn't Cyclops, Jean or Nightcrawler. And this might lead to Xavier being one of Ultimate Apocalypse's horsemen when the time comes, along with Beast and maybe Gambit (hopefully not written by Kirkman...).

Ultimate Fantastic Four is always a great read and I have faith in Carey and Lorroca's art as well. This should be good.

I've generally liked Land's art, but it's pretty bad when he uses the same face for two different characters on the same cover.

Hyperion and Spectrum were apparently seperated at birth.

By the way, anyone think the UXM solicit would have been better had it read:

The young X-Men have lost own of their own. And in the wake of their tragedy, a momentous decision is reached: Disband the X-Men! Yes, you read it right. Is this the end of Xavier's dream? And if so, what does this mean for the evil mutants who may rush in to fill the power vacuum? It all begins to unravel…

Good hell, how stupid to spoil it.

If this "new student" at Midtown High is in fact Jessica, it would be interesting to see her involvement in the Ultimate Knights arc.

I hope Black Cat makes a comeback too, 'cause I wanna see her reaction not only to running into underage Pete again, but also running into female underage Pete. Yikes! :p

If anybody can do the unthinkable and make Diablo cool, it's gotta be Mike Carey. :)

Looking forward to Ultimate Spidey.

*Spoilers(From Clone Sage Arc of Ultimte Spiderman)*
I have a feeling the new student is 99.99999% Jessica ( The one from Clone Saga ). Also look forward to how Aunt May copes with the knowledge of Peter being Spidey. See if Mary Jane gets cured from the "Demogoblin" ( or whatever it is called ) thingy.

*End Spoilers*

I was hoping it was longer as well... So we have like four issues of Deadpool nonsense and five of the Silver Sable waste but er only get three of Ultimate Knights awesomeness? Way to go...

I would guess that since issue #109 is Bags last, that will probably be some double sized special issue. New artist takes over on #110.

Upon further thought yeah it would seem right that it would be Spider-Woman, it's just I always imagined Cloak and Dagger being in the Marvel Knights and with Tandy Bowen there the first thought that popped up was an excuse to introduce more knights...?

after a 9 part clone saga, two of which are double issues, i think we could use a moment away from the large, epic storylines. as long as the 3 issues are good, it's not a problem. in fact, bendis' writing seems to get better overall when he is forced to concisely cram his story into fewer issues.

Aw nuts. I love the Ultimate Hardcovers (and Daredevil, Punisher, Runaways, etc). This is how I collect the series. You know you're in for 12 issues (give or take) for $30, plus something extra. Compared to the "Premiere" HC collections, which run fewer issues, at a higher cost per issue. The following are from the March solicitations. Here's to hoping the Premiere HC is just a one-off for the clone saga, and we'll still see the standard Volume 9, thought it would collect most of the same issues as the "Premiere" volume. As is, they're offering us 56 pages less at the same price. How are we not supposed to be disappointed?

sure both annuals were awesome but his two parters the team-up w/ human torch, team-up w/ dr.strange and body switching with wolverine were not that good.
