I would seeing as it was what got me into Spider-Man.
Question. Have those 3 ever team up together in the 616 world? I mean I know Spider-Man and Firestar teamed up in Max. Carnage and the Scarlet Spider was briefly a part of the New Warriors with her but, all 3 together.

Wait! When was a homicidal mass murderer like Carnage ever part of the New Warriors.

I completely lost my train of thought.
Oh yeah, I'd certainly support am Amazing Friends book, as long as it kept to the spirit of the show. Heavy on the wisecracks, one-issue stories, 0% angst. We don't have enough books like that.

I'd like to see a Spiderman/Firestar/Iceman series set in continuity. Of course, that would be a problem right now, since Mike Carey's using Iceman in X-Men.

If it has Firestar in it I'm buying it. Like, times 10.

I also miss those one issue storylines back then combining humor with action so well...
now its everything about huge events and life tragedies

Hey, I just talking about this over at Newsarama. Yeah, there was a one shot that came out this year called Spider Man Family: Amazing Friends that featured an in-continuity Amazing Friends story. I hear it was really good and I'd love an ongoing series featuring these 3 characters.

It would be great in small doses, for the nostalgia factor, but I dont think an ongoing would work..

It sounds a bit too goofy. There used to be a Spidey cartoon ages ago with Spidey, Johnny Storm and someone else I can't remember and it was a trio fighting group. It just wrecked that notion for me.

If Sean Mckeever writes this, which I believe he is, then it will be great, no doubt!!
If they were to do it, I'd see it more as a Marvel Adventures title than a 616 title. All 3 characters have too much baggage these days to logically get together and form a team.
I'm suprised it wasn't explored more in the Marvel Team Up book when it was around, though I know they did have a nice little one shot a while ago.

If their first issue had Ms Lion getting chucked into a wood chipper, I might consider it.

My thoughts exactly. I have a 4 year old little boy, and it's getting hard to find comics I can read to him.
