Ok here's a fun challenge we can try. I'll list a state, then the next poster makes up a team roster for that state. Then they post another state. The next poster then makes up that state's team roster. Lather, rinse, repeat until we have 50 teams. Here are the guidelines:

1. Maximum roster is 8 people.

2. Anybody, dead or alive can be put on the roster.

3. Nobody can be in more than one team.

4. Team name can be one of your own, or one of the established team names

5. No two states can have the same team name unless they are specified (E.g. New Avengers, Young Avengers).

6. Have fun with this.

Debrii - we've only briefly seen her in the NW, so it would be nice to have a new character get up into the Avengers' multi-state roster.

Demolition Man - after his recent rediscovery by Bendis, has started on the road to recovery.

A new Captain Hip & Sunshine - similar to Dyno-mite Dan from the Seven Soldiers, they were Marvel Zombies who discovered the existence of the First Line, as well as a method to emulate the powers of these two druggy heroes.

Mr. Immortal, after Stark forcibly disbands the GLX, he finds himself demoted to a supporting character in another team.

Big Bertha eventually winds up joining him.

You're right, but someone conjectured, to get Ben Reilly back, Norman Osborn would have had to imprisoned Ben, and killed another clone back in SM 75. So they can always do that if they want Ben back

Diamondback - I know I keep choosing characters connected to Cap, but that's because there are so many supporting characters out there that could be legitimately included in the Initiative. Spider-Man's extended cast also. I was musing over a team led by G.W. Bridge featuring Solo earlier...anyway Diamondback, the real Diamondback, is running the show here.

Death's Head I - I really liked Simon Furman's UK stuff when I was growing up. Who's to say DH didn't have a few untold adventures in the present before getting revamped umpteen times (I understand he's back again as an AIM creation!?!) I mean, he's a time traveller.

Ganymede - I don't remember this character really, just that she was last seen with Jack of Hearts. Anyway following the discovery of his death, she's dedicated herself to following in his footsteps on earth. Plus her powers are pretty cool - she could conceivably hold Sentry at bay maybe.

Cardiac - one of Spider-Man's extended family, his powers are pretty interesting and I don't believe he's had anything more than one appearance. Though I seem to have chosen an over-abundance of characters that use staffs.

Century - speaking of which....I always thought he was interesting. Now he emerged during the awful 90's and it shows. He's a deliberately 'enigmatic' amnesiac Wolverine clone - ooh, he's a warrior that doesn't remember his past, exciting! (sarcasm in case you're wondering). But having the abilities of the best warriors of his race? Nice. But maybe he'll lose the staff, too many staff-bearers on the team definitely. :D
