God help me, I do.

A big, good ol' boy mutant with the ability to drive any vehicle, wearing a low-rent cybertronic suit with an electrified mane who speaks entirely in CB radio slang.

I recently reread his first appearance in Essential Spectacular Spider-Man, and he was so far past lame that he somehow boomeranged back and became kinda neat. It's like...he KNOWS he's wearing a pig on his head, and he goes out in public anyway. That much self-esteem is pretty cool.

So yeah, I kinda miss ol' Iron Pig.

Who do YOU miss?

Ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssstegron! *basks in his majesty* Yeah, it was a concept that worked better when I was ten, but he has a certain Trogdor bad-assness. He's lame, but he doesn't know he's lame.

Razorback is a good choice though. I recall there were a couple CB guys back then... Machine Man fought a bad robot called Tenn Forr (or some permutation of the name).

Sean, Adam-Troy Castro's novel The Gathering of the Sinister Six has Razorback in a great supporting role. You should check it out.

Razorback was my Epic pitch.

I knew a guy who was trying to pitch to the recent Unlimited anthology books, and one of his ideas was a story where Razorback dies at the end. I told him point-blank, "If you kill Razorback, our friendship is over."

It's a good thing they're not still accepting those pitches. Nowadays it seems Marvel hasn't met a 3rd banana they wouldn't rather kill.

"Civil War Frontline #9: Meet the Spider-Man Kill Crew! Razorback, Cardiac, Annex, Hybrid, and Nightwatch!" And then they all die.

Crud, missed that issue. I'll have to pick that up when I empty my pullbox this week.

Why would Hybrid, Nightwach and Annex want to kill Spider-Man when they're all good guys, not to mention that Nightwatch is already dead.

Razorback had a classic moment earlier this year (or maybe late last year) when he was at She-Hulk's time trial in her book.

I wish most of the images in the infamous Razorback that Rhode Montijo started on the Drawing Board remained. 100 pages of Razorback. All Razorback. Nothing but Razorback.

He can drive any vehicle.

Because Nightwatch woke up one day to people calling him Spawn. Everywhere he went it was "Spawn. Spawn. Spawn". He went bananas and took along Annex and Hybrid who now suffers from severe schizophrenia due to 4 different symbiotic voices in his head. In the end, they all find out the Steel Spider was tired of being forgotten and so he laid the seeds of this plan long ago to form his own little band called the Whack Pack ;) Not to worry, as Brian Michael Bendis plans to eradicate all traces of them after Nightwatch jumps into Annex with a burning bow quiver. Hybrid is so distraught he has little choice but to fly up into space and tear himself into two

I actually miss more of the Spidey vs Rhino confrontations and I know he was in one of the current Sensational issues but I generally don't buy that book.

Hopefully post CW we'll see Spider-Man clash with the rogues of yesteryear.

I kinda miss Rhino as a proper villain. For a good long time now, he's been sort of the "placeholder" Spider-Man villain. The one Spidey beats in the first few pages of the book before he moves on to the real threat (particularly in MTU). Kinda like Mr. Hyde over in the Avengers books...such a shame.

True, I think the last great Rhino story was the "Flowers for Algernon" one during the great Tangled Web stories. It was funny, charming and yet it still had Spidey interact with Rhino in a fun way. In fact I think I'll dig that one up again :D
