Does anyone know why Fantastic Four #541 didn't show up (http://comicglutton.blogspot.com/2006/12/mias-for-november-ff-and-jla.html) in November? I can't imagine it needs to wait until after Civil War #6 comes out (although, the latest Amazing Spider-Man mostly takes place after CW #6). All of JMS' books seem to be in trouble, presumably due to his commitment to revamping Thor. (Clor?) Further Squadron Supreme is pushed back indefinitely, Ultimate Power #4, where JMS is supposed to start, has been missing from the solicits for two months in a row, and who knows whether Bullet Points will stay monthly.

The last ASM I've got is ASM 536 where Punisher rescues Spidy in the sewers immediatly after CW 5, not 6. As for FF 541, I'm with you. It should have been out over a month. Not that I'm looking forward to it, because FF has been half the impact of ASM. But it would be at least something in December.

FF 541 was originally solicited for the first week after CW 5. It has since been delayed again and again, now to the 20th December. So no, in this case it's not Steve McNiven's fault. Of course it does open up the question of why an issue originally supposed to be ready for September is STILL not ready in November, but when asked, Tom B just said "Stuff happens."

So we should be seeing it NEXT week, not this week. On the bright side, Dwayne McDuffie takes over in the issue after, and we'll get TWO of his issues in January. (Hopefully anyway...) In that case though, it won't be so bad if one is delayed because we're FF_less for February anyway.

Yeah, I'd guess it's due to JMS writing Thor.

And jackolover- the first few pages of ASM 536 werer after CW5, the rest was after 6. FF 541 apparantly has Ben leave for France, though I'm sceptical as to whether he WILL leave and how long it will be for given the 45th anniversary issue in 543.

I thought that McDuffie was actually coming on with issue 544. I though JMS was going to finish off Civil war, and then move on. Atleast that's what I thought I read.

I think JMS left in the middle of the Civil War crossover in FF.

McDuffie definitely takes over in issue 542.

How can you say ASM 536 after the first few pages happens after CW 6 we havn't even seen CW 6? It would be a spoiler if that was the case.

That is the case. There is a note in the issue that says it takes place after the events of Civil War #5 and #6 if I recall correctly. Actually the first few pages takes place during Civil War #5 and then it jumps to post #6.

Correct.

I saw the note and quit reading. I'll pick it up after CW #6 comes out.

I must have missed that. I certainly didn't get the impression that there was this time jump. What were they doing, just checking into a hotel room and Spidey left?

It's not that vital to put it down and wait for CW#6 since it doesn't reveal anything particularly spoilerish so don't worry too much about that.
