But, what if ???
I've been able to stave off the glamour of chemical euphoria,
but the promise of something I've always dreamed of ???
To be "the fastest", just once ???

As long as it was controllable, I'd be down. I'd hate to wish for superspeed and have the genie screw me over by having me live inbetween moments while the rest of the world crawled by me, but if I could just click! right into superspeed and stop a crime or make a trip across the country and then click! right back to walkin' pace, I'd love to be able to do that. Aside from owning a power ring, superspeed would be the most useful day to day power.

I'd want it if I could do what Bart did, and go and read (and RETAIN!) all the books in the library.

In that case, it would be the coolest thing ever.

You take V9 (With a little tomato/vegetable juice, what's that stuff called?)
and you just take the "F" off...
If you were a klutz before you took it,
you're more than likely to run into the side of a building at 700m.p.h.
before you could even realize what happened...

When it wears off, you're at "walking pace" alright, but you deathly crave another hit...
Not speaking from experience, but figuratively,
they'd legalize crack, to get this off the streets...
