“Cable & Deadpool” may be angry with each other but that doesn’t mean the duo’s adventures will be coming to an end. CBR News spoke with writer Fabian Nicieza about his plans for Marvel’s Odd Couple.

Interesting that the big X-over this summer seems to revolve around Cable. Sounds like Marvel has big plans for the character.

Cool!:)

Cable & Deadpool are Marvel's greatest couple after Juggernaut & Black Tom and Ult. Quicksilver & Ult. Scarlet Witch, they can never be split:D

I have almost no idea where this book is going with these characters but like it in a random anarchist kinda way. tehehe
But, I hoping the X-Men/Cable crossover (sobs no DP) will be fun. I just love love the to see CDP interact with other heroes and teams.

Nice to see Marvel giving this book so much support. Its funny between Cable and Deadpool they are two of the most long lasting characters in a new title in about 20 years. I mean deadpool series was 70 issues. Cable was like 105 followed by 8 issues of soldier x and now hitting the 40s of the new series.

Exactly. In the X-World outside of Wolverine, Cable and Deadpool have had long lasting solo books. How many x-characters can say that? :)

I never really thought about it like that. That's a pretty good point.

Ugh. But 2 Cable-centric issues back-to-back. That's 3 months from the end of issue 37 to the start of # 40 with no Deadpool. Nicieza you broke my heart. All I know is that those issues better have some darn good recap and letter pages, or some serious catfighting to keep my interest.

Words cannot express how much I love this book. Except those I just said.

Can't wait for more from this series even if the title characters are going on a spirit quest, I think it will be funny and serious at the same time. :D

But after the Cable-centric issues it sounds like Deadpool will move to the forefront for awhile (which makes sense as Cable's also in another book right now).

Cable & Deadpool is in my top five or so comics -- and now that we are on a collision course with a Deadpool centric arc, well it may be doing battle with Daredevil and Captain America as my favorite...

And as the sign says at the comic book store, "Why aren't you reading this?"
