No official date yet, and it hurts, it physically friggin' hurts. I want this story to be told. It caught me completely by surprise. It's one of those books that you just picked up out of nowhere, flipped through it, and with the slightest bit of effort, fell for it.

But, the delays have hurt it, completely losing any momentum that could have made it a quicker hit, but people are still following it, and waiting for the last issue to arrive. The tpb, I'm hoping, will do well because word of mouth, positive reviews, and just a slight upgrade on advertising will do good things for everyone involved.

Can't be January, it hasn't been solicited and hence stores haven't had a chance to order it. February either. We're looking at least at March, which is the earliest Previews it could be solicited in.

Right. My brain was in fecal creek at that time. I was thinking back to an interview with John Paul Leon at Newsarama. My bad. Leon expressed that it would be out early 2007. But still no official release date.

Well, I'll definitely pick up the special whenever it comes out. It's been tortorous waiting for each new issue of this series (partially because of the wait, partially because of the excellence of each issue). I guess I'd rather have it slowly and done well than rushed, at this point.
