I thought it was awesome, but then again, I'm probably the biggest Halo fanboy in Scotland.

Since neither I nor anybody else has played Halo 3, I can't really say. I will just have to wait untill 2007.

Someone else made the trailer. No Bungie talent was used in its making.

It was pretty interesting. I hope it hints at what we can expect from some of the gameplay elements, like for example, the force shield which can be turned on at will.

so can we say that HALO 3 is going to be a PS3 killer ? i mean the PS3 is not saleing any way right the xbox is about to hit 10 million by the 12-25-06 and halo 3 is just going to boost that right

I can make an educated guess.
It will be a FPS game, you can only carry two weapons at a time, but you can duel wield some of these weapons. Weapons include a shot gun, an assault rifle, a few alien weapons like the neddler, and the lazer...sniper deal. you can also get a sweet plasma sword.
You get two types of grenades, regular, and a glowy, sticky kind.
You can pilot various vehicles. Human vehicles include a jeep, with a gunner on back, a large, slow moving but powerful tank. You can also pilot alien vehicles, usualy purple, some fly, they shoot lazers, pew pew!
PVP of various types will be availble through xbox live, it will feature many 13 year olds calling me and my mother fag.
Just a guess. I can't recall the last time i saw real innovation in an FPS....maybe the physics in Half Life 2. But still, you can generaly predict these games.

The chief using that shild was really really cool
although Bunige said chief wont be spirinting and that supports the visits by game magazines.
