Pipeline Podcast delayed

After all the work editing up the interview with Chris E., I have bad news to report:

There will be no podcast tonight. My audio mixer just died. And I don't have my backup non-powered mic with me tonight to record something in the meantime without it. (Ironically, it just got moved into storage this weekend. I learned a valuable lesson on that -- stop putting things away!)

I hope to score a new mixer tomorrow and then have a podcast tomorrow night sometime.

Yup, still delayed. I hope to have the new mixer tonight, now.

It turns out the model I had has been discontinued and replaced with a new model under a new brand name -- but with nothing changed. Ugh

In any case, if I can pick one up after work tonight, you'll at least get the Chris Eliopoulos interview this evening, even if I don't have the time to do the whole Top Ten list.

All done and uploaded. Now to get back to the Pipeline Previews Podcast. Honestly, since most people (from my anecdotal experience) tend to download podcasts over the weekend to listen to starting on Monday, I'm not in a real big rush to get it up Friday over Saturday or Sunday. I'd like to take the extra day or two, as needed, to get the whole thing out the door at once.

But for now -- enjoy the half hour with Chris Eliopoulos in this week's regular podcast! It'll be the last interview for a while.
