A week or two back, Cartoon Network was doing a Naruto marathon for the Naruto/Neji fight. Did they skip the middle portion, with Neji telling Naruto of his side of the clans' fate, and Hinata fainting? It seemd like the episode started, then got scragged and jumped to the end.

My thoughts on the episodes around here... MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR SPOILERS UNTIL PAST THE RESCUE SASUKE ARC

The "Rescue Sasuke" arc had some of the best fights EVER.

Gaara v.s. Sasuke was total bullshit. Since when did learning the chindori give one Lee level speeds? Which Lee trained for most of his life to achieve?! And Sasuke attained in a month!? Way to belittle Lee's grand achievement...

Kiba v.s Sakkon was a sweet ass fight. Can't wait to see it on Adult Swim. The same goes with Neji's fight with the spider guy.

And Choji... I've never had so much respect for him in my life. Same with Shino and Shikamaru.

Shikamaru's fight with Temari was priceless.

Lee v.s. Kimimaro: My god... Lee is my hero, and apparently a master at drunken boxing.

And they dragged Orochimaru's battle of wills with Sarutobi out WAY to long.

Sasuke always gets by on Freebies in the series, it sucks but it's there.

One of Lee's lessons is no matter how hard you work, no matter how good you get, there's always someone better, so you need more in your life than just beating someone. As Guy said, sucks, but there it is.

As for you Tube...I've read the manga...just thought it was weird that the episode was missing/cut...wondered if CN thought the subject matter was too rough.

Regarding Sasuke and his speed: it was less that learning Chidori gives you that level of speed (which Lee has only been training around 2-3 years of insane levels of training to get, since it was only when he got with Gai that he developed at all; remember, he had no talent at *any* of the styles, it was just that taijutsu was the only one he could even hope to learn since he can't do jack with his chakra outside of the Lotus), it was that he needed to gain that level of speed to properly utilize the Chidori. Remeber, Sasuke has always been depicted as a genius with an insane rate of improvement in both physical and jutsu fields, and his particular bloodline trait probably created a family predisposed towards having high stats in order to use the jutsu that they copy.

Not to mention that Itachi was already an Anbu by Sasuke's age, IIRC; Sasuke might be able to get crazy rewards for bursts of intense effort, but his big brother was waaaay beyond him even in that.
