I just watched Alias season 1 and I really like this show, but my friend told me it gets worse after that. I want to know does it get better. WHich is the best season. And is it worth it to keep watching. Spoilers will not hurt, but not too much.

Personally, I think Season One is the best. Season Two is still very good, though.
Without getting into spoilers, it's hard to explain why. Something happens in Season Two that, to my mind, seriously diminishes the show. It has to happen, but the show never quite recovers.

What happens in season 2 that diminishes the show and is it worth watching after that because I don't want to waste my time on it if it gets worse.

SD-6 gets taken down and Sydney goes to the CIA full time. It makes sense, but, for me, it removes one of the central elements of the show and the main source of tension. They try to bring back that undercover agent vibe from time to time, but it never really works.
It's still a good (if not great) action show after that, and Season Two has an absolutely killer ending. Season Three isn't bad either, by any means.
I dunno. It's up to you. As long as you're Netflixing 'em or something, what's the harm in checking 'em out?

it gets might shitty...but it's worth it to see lena olin...:D
I actually think that season 2 is the best season. Season 1&2 were very good. It went down hill in season 3 and improved slightly but remained boring in season 4. Got much better in season 5 ..but towards the end of the season became just dumb. That being said I still think that Alias was one of the best and most intelligent shows that I have ever seen. If part of the reason you like watching it is Jennifer Garner. Then the bad parts of the show won't bother you that much. She really is a joy to watch.
