For the longest of time i always wondered how Iceman could work his abilities.
the following list contains all the things that ponders my brain

1. how does Boby turn his entire body into ice. he has to freeze his internal systems and his entire body to become fully ice, right? if i am, then how can he move?

2. When Iceman loses a chunk of himself in a battle, he always just freezes the empty volume with more ice, but when he turns back in his human form, would the ice just be ice, and therefor ending up to harming the popsicle?

3. Iceman freezes the moisture in the air to create the ice right? How does Bobby create a beam?

Iceman has got to be my favorite X-Man character, so i dont mind letting these things by, but I thought it might be a good idea if i got a full understanding of the freezer pop.:D

1. how does Boby turn his entire body into ice. he has to freeze his internal systems and his entire body to become fully ice, right? if i am, then how can he move?

This is the toughest question, i suppose he could freeze and unfreeze selective parts of his body, subconciously rebuilding his body constantly thereby seemingly animating his body. This theory is supported by the fact that he can also to a degree conciously alter his iceform.

2. When Iceman loses a chunk of himself in a battle, he always just freezes the empty volume with more ice, but when he turns back in his human form, would the ice just be ice, and therefor ending up to harming the popsicle?

I suspect he subconciously recreates organs made of ice, then transforms the ice back to organic matter

3. Iceman freezes the moisture in the air to create the ice right? How does Bobby create a beam?

He freezes the air in the form of a beam i suspect much like he can freeze the air in any other shape

thanks man:D i guess that this really works for Iceman, and instead of a beam it's more of a pillar of ice

Cool.

A bit more side questions

1. how fast can Iceman move on his ice slide?
2. does he have mental control over ice?
3. cant think of any more
