Is it just me or does this seemed to have copied from Negation War and especially its original form. In its original form, it would have been told in a number of titles with the main focus in the War proper. The heralds of galactus replace the First, Ravonous and his ilk replace the law bringers, Annilus replaced Charon, the wave replaces the Negation Army and the main 4 charecters replaced the sigil bearers. I am enjoying the series but it cant begin to touch what was being done by Crossgen and Tony & Paul specificly
I think someone asked Andy Schmidt about the similarities and he just waved the question off.
What does everyone else think???

This is what I think:

You aren't the first person to see similarities, as coincidental as they are.

Honestly, I seriously doubt Andy Schmidt ever read NEGATION. If he had, I'd be working for him, right? ;-)
The real truth is probably that there really is an extra-dimensional invasion force gathering out there right now, and that "sensitive" people like me and Giffen are picking up psychic echoes of what's to come and putting them in our stories.
Y'think?

I actually asked Andy about the similarities and he admitted to not have read Negation War. Hence why I stated such similarities are coincidental.
Wait. There's still the chance Giffen read it...
Or your theory, Tony. I guess we need to create a preemptive United Front.

Andy must not have read your past Exiles issues, specificly 87 & 88 either. The ideas of an evil, a Galactus of redemption and someone getting cosmic from Galactus to take down the surfer was great. You have shown in this issue & your entire run that you have/ get it. I eagerly await the next book you write.
ps, my only 2 changes would have been,
1) Gladiator puts up a better fight, he is even more superman thqn Hyperion is
2) morph should have gone Cosmic, or someone should have used the cosmic enerhy to burn Mutant X right out of him ( would have set clairmont up for his run , with a cleansed Morph ( just a thought )
I have gone back and purchased every issue since the trade featuring Ego and the Celestials all due to your writing ( some of the art was very weak )
keep up the great work

Thanks, man.
All the artists do their best, but not everyone can be Paul Pelletier! That guy is one in a million, and more people will figure that out when he moves to his next project!

WOW, by his next project looks like you meant the Fantastic Four. With Dwayne ( loved his underrated Milestone work), surprised Joe Q did not announce this change ( affects 2 books, FF & Exiles)
I hate to see him ( & you ) leave the Exiles , but the FF should be one of Marvel's elite books. It was the first and in the 10 year run Lee & Kirbey did they laid the foundation of Marvel Universe.
Now we need to see who takes over as the Exile's new artist
